Just out of curiosity, what are the destination charges for a vehicle shipped to Hawaii?
  4. Anybody else wish their Ranger was shorter and lower??

Mine is 4 1/2 inches higher in the rear than the front. The tailgate height is also the same as my son's F-150 Lariat 4X4.
  5. finally...

Well friend, I see that you took the plunge for a 'full dresser'! I had to add all the stuff to mine that yours already has. So, you can start enjoying it right away. Mine sat in the garage for a month while I tweaked it. Great looking truck and enjoy the ride!
  6. Anybody else wish their Ranger was shorter and lower??

I thought my 2010 was right size but sprung too high. The 2019 feels like the old F-100 or 90's F-150 size to me but I'll get used to it or get something else.
  7. TPS Display

My tire guy who also runs an oil change operation, taught me to check my spare every time I change the oil. And if the valve stem was pointed upwards under the truck bed drop it, turn it over and have it facing down to where it's easy to check.

My guess is that the rev limiter is there for just this type behavior.
  11. Back To College (Daytime running lights)

Ran alongside another Ranger today on divided 4 lane. After passing him I noticed that he had LED DRLs. At my next stop I checked mine. No DRLs at all. Looked at my window sticker and it listed that I had them. After searching through the "2019 Ford Ranger Reference Catalog" (sometimes called...
  12. Goodbye Ford. We're gonna miss ya!

Lots of what shows up on Google 'news' makes me think I'm reading "The Onion"! At least they didn't quote Ranger5g.com as a source! That would've lent credence to it.
  13. Goodbye Ford. We're gonna miss ya!

I Yeah you're right. I thought it was a Tacoma at first. Anyway, it's a goner without a bailout, according to this article.
  14. Goodbye Ford. We're gonna miss ya!

CCN, whoever that is, is preaching Ford's funeral. At least they could have used a Ford for the headline photo! Anybody want to guess what that truck actually is? https://www.ccn.com/next-recession-can-bankrupt-ford-motor-company/
  15. What did you receive in the mail today for your Ranger?

Best wishes for success Phil! Several family and friends have had it and all did fine.
  16. Cheap Cargo Hooks

If you need to secure straps without dropping the gate (and I do) here's something to try. Flush mount hooks from DCCargoMall.com. $12 for four on Amazon. An M6 threaded mount is already on your truck. They do not interfere with the operation of the tailgate and help secure a drop in liner to...
  17. Detailed my baby today

Pssssst! Has it stopped raining yet?
  18. What did you receive in the mail today for your Ranger?

I got a letter from Ford wanting me to buy another Ford! And I can save money doing it!
  19. Car cover for a S/Cab

Georgia temps often vary 35 degrees in just a few hours. HVAC is just the way it is, but well insulated and sealed structures are pretty easy to keep habitable. Besides, it's only money!:piggybank: The shop is a different story. I use wood, electricity, propane and kerosene and still have to...
