For Christmas my son gave me some Croftgate wash stuff. I usually do a complete wash on vehicles but since the Ranger was only slightly dirty from having driven in the rain, I gave it a try. Have to say I was impressed with the outcome. Now, that being said, it won't replace a good old fashioned...

That was the definition I had in mind using the word. "Actual or supposed":
I like the S/Cab for what I use it for, hauling...
A word of caution for those installing the hooks in trucks with drop in bedliners. The liner has to be peeled back to attach the fasteners. In my case the tonneau hold down brackets had to be removed to accomplish that. I'm glad I used cap screws instead of Torx bolts. It's pretty tight space...
Just trying to lighten the conversation. It's not that big of a deal to me . I was gonna buy the hooks if I had to, but my dealer, who is MY business customer, furnished them. They feel that if their customers want them, then they get them.
My bad. I guess that they appeared that way with the tonneau on. I might have thought that one of the tonneau straps was one of the tiedowns. I measured them and they are even. Of course there's always the possibility that someone sneaked in my garage and leveled them!:bandit:;)
I got mine today but no bolts. Not a problem, Ace Hardware to the rescue. But here's my take. If a manufacturer quotes a feature and it isn't there, then you have a grievance. The advertising didn't say "May come with six tie downs".
This may have already been covered. Not sure how to search this forum yet but: Has anyone had trouble with Pandora loading itself. Sometimes I look at my screen and the Pandora data for a song is there but I didn't load it. I finally uninstalled the app to stop it. Thx in advance. Steve
Update: I had to drive the XT5 to Columbia S.C. today for my first long drive in it. Ate lunch and came home, 390 miles round trip. Good mixture of roads from crappy two lane gravel to smooth interstate. Gotta say that the Caddy was impressive. Drove the Ranger 360 miles Friday in dry and wet...
I drove mine in the rain on I-75 Friday and didn't get a drop inside the liner. BTW, the Truxsport looks identical to the Ford cover I installed. My 2010 Ranger had a TruXsport with the Ford logo near the tailgate.
Zaph: For those old enough and into hi-fi, do you remember from the 70's and 80's when you bought a cheap cassette deck and you pressed eject, the door would pop open with a twang? But if you had a quality Nakamichi, Teac or Denon and you pressed eject, it would open smooth and slow. There's...
I like to flip my latch, moon walk back one step, spin around on the left heel and do the Elvis TCB Lightning Bolt pose while the gate slooowly creeps down! But then again, I understand that everyone isn't like me!
