In 3000 miles I haven't noticed anything unusual with my brakes. But after reading this I'm positive that the next time I hit that pedal I will gasp and go 'DAMN'! Thanks in advance for warning me about something I didn't have a problem with!
I got a message on my speedometer display today that said something like "Engine slowing reduced braking". Y'all ever seen that. I had about 400 lbs. in the bed.
Just did a 'waterless' wash on mine. This vehicle has more nooks and crannies than Yoda's belly. The XLT grille in particular. I can't see me wiping each one of those 'teeth' .
I have two vehicles on my FordPass. I just noticed that both of the pictures of the vehicles matches what I have. Model, color and even the wheels. Is that a coincidence or does the VIN give it the correct picture?
I hit 3000 today. It's important to know that when I drive my Ranger I'm in it all day. Three hundred plus miles per day. I did 377 today in the rain. Well, long story short, the more I drive it the better I like it. The ride is a little firm but it doesn't wear me out. The power is very good...
At least we have a button and an alternative to defeat that ass! My wife's car has no such defeat possible unless you put the car in manual shift or neutral every time you stop.
I smelled it on mine after the initial test drive. Salesman said "They all do that". I didn't smell it again until after about 1200 miles, Haven't got a clue unless it was assembly 'stuff' on the exhaust system. I might have poked it a little before that last time!
I got my tiedowns but I had already bolted the tailgate damper to where they were supposed to go! I'm going to sue Ford because the owners manual didn't tell me NOT to put it there! (Happy Friday y'all!)
The phone worked fine this morning. What would be even better would be to connect a wireless charger and forget it. The fish acted scared in the aquarium.
