I did not read through the replies but all this does is remap how far open the throttle body opens vs pedal position. It does nothing more than you can do by pushing your foot down farther. I don’t understand how this thing sells? Oh the good old day with cables when 1/2 throttle was 1/2...
Had something similar. Had 3 inch dual exit MBRP axle back. Probably same muffler. Once I went with the 3 inch down pipe and full 3 inch exhaust had terrible drone on the highway. Added the big MBRP resonator and it is sill at the edge of drone but acceptable now. FYI the turbo response and...
Header wrap, it works on down pipes also. That is what I did. Although performance wise you want as much heat to dissipate after the turbo as possible.
If you have the down pipe installed and you get a custom tune it will be tuned for the down pipe if the tuner know it is there or not. If you put the down pipe on after the tune or on factory tune the computer will compensate STFT and LTFT to tune for the down pipe. You are good ether way.
I would replace with a standard HP tuners interface. That way at least the hardware is not locked and can be used on multiple vehicles. I had my HP tuner interface since 2006 or so, just had to pay to upgrade the interface in order to tune my ranger but that was only a couple hundred and...
Yep my guess is you have a 7,500 lb trailer and towing over a 10k ft pass, you will be happy you have the engine driven fan. If not put a electric fan on if you want and be happy with your life.
Ok here are some clips of the exhaust. A cold start, acceleration. I like the sound but it has induced some drone on the highway. I have a MBRP resonator coming that will be included in to see if that will take it out.
While I was waiting on getting exhaust welded decided to paint the front lower bumper/skid plate to match. Had enough left over paint from panting the flares. Lower bumper never looked lIke it matched with the darker wheels and painted bumpers.
Hot oil will have low pressure at idle. Chances are your low oil pressure switch just may be operating higher than normal. If you are under warranty I would get it to the dealer. If not find a way to plumb in a direct pressure gauge and verify everything.
I have the MBRP 3 inch exhaust. Purchased the SPD 3 inch down pipe and could not find a good solution to connect the 2. Decided just to build one. Have everything cut, measured and marked. Going to go ahead and pay for someone to Tig it together So it looks good. I was never real good at...
Had a conference in Denver. Decided to visit famly in Pueblo and drive instead of fly. After the conference drove through the mountains and took a cuple of simple trails since I was there. Need to find more time to do this! I have not done this since I had my 73 Bronco over 30 years ago.
It is not going to turn on unless you put a load on it. The 55v is there to detect when something is plugged in. Then it will turn on and provide 120v.
