Fuel in oil happens on all piston engines. Fuel evaporates at low temperature so normal driving with the oil at temperature will get the fuel to evaporate off. Way back on large radial aircraft engines they had a fuel dilution valve to put fuel into the oil on shutdown in cold climates. This...
Yes anything out of the normal the dealer will do that. If the dealer just changed out your engine to fix this and sent it into Ford for payment they would deny the claim and the dealer would have to eat the cost.
Oil rising from fuel is only temporary. Once you get the oil hot for long enough the fuel will evaporate off. It does leave contaminates and such. if it was not for fuel and blow by we would never have to change the oil. I would think the more contaminated truck were the ones that drive shorter...
Every business is going to take care of their loyal customers first. Not sure why this surprises anyone. Of course you are going to be put behind the guy that has purchased many vehicles from them. If that dealer is more convenient why did you not buy the truck from them?
I have to agree with you on Insane. But this is completely due to the sue happy world we live in where no one takes responsibility of their actions. The purchaser could know about the recall, take delivery, belt his kid in the back and get in an accident where his child dies. It would be Fords...
The title of the thread is confusing everyone. The Dealer does not have Your vehicle. They have Their vehicle. Recall or not they do not have to deliver it to you unless all the paperwork is signed. A deposit does not make the vehicle yours. They can give you the deposit back and tell you to...
No opinion needed! If you tune your vehicle outside of fords tune you eliminate power train warranty. I think the Ford Perforance tune moves the warrant form Ford to Ford Performance. Some tunes include warranty or you can pay extra for one. Or you can be an adult and realize if you modify a car...
My Ranger has stop and go and Auto pilot! Have not touched the gas, break or steering wheel since I bought it! It is all in the Manual you just have to read between the lines.
NOOOOOOOO! Not the pedal commander again. Do not do it it is a waste.
Put it in S Throttle response and shifting is better. If that does not do it……..
Any good tune will make the transmission shifting better. I went with the OZ omega tune. Flash it and forget it. Pick any of the major ones...
