You actually answered my question, thanks! My issue is the adapter that plugs into the OBD2 port. This is what I'm using:
This device doesn't support Bluetooth v4 which my iPhone insists on and it can't connect. My old Android tablet connect just fine.
I downloaded OBD Fusion and will...
I pulled an old Android tablet of a box over the weekend just so I could load Torque. The iPhone requires a Bluetooth 4.0 OBD reader but what I have is an OBDlink LX device from several years ago. I got all that working but curious to know what software/app you're using. Torque (free version)...
It's possible and something I'll have to check. I live in the suburbs with lots of woods around me. Plenty of wildlife around. My backyard is a dear super-highway. Who knows what critters I have that I can't see.
Good point! I don't know how often it tries to connect but I have a weak signal in the garage so it might take long to check for updates. I'll probably turn that off.
I picked the truck from the dealer yesterday afternoon. They said it started with no problem when they got to work on it in the morning. They monitored the voltage for a few hours and nothing changed. All seems to be fine.
I'm going to start it every day for the next few days even if I'm...
Let's hope the dealership can figure it out. I've called on it a couple of times but can't get anyone to talk to me. It's Saturday and I'm sure they're slammed with walk-in (drive-in?) customers. I might have to go camp out there on Monday.
Thanks for the inputs everyone. The tow truck hauled it off to the dealer so we’ll see what they say. The driver had a jump pack and got the it started.
Went to run an errand this morning and jumped in the truck as usual and nothing! No chime, no instrument panel, no infotainment screen, etc.
This is a 2022 Ranger XLT with just over 5,600 miles on it. The truck was built in Feb 2022 so it's barely more than a year and a half old.
I put a...
The stripe came from Topographical Ford Ranger Mach 1 Inspired Hood Decal- 3 Layer Decal (3 – L&B Designworks (lbdesignworks.com). That's actually my truck on the website.
Congrats on the new ride! I zoomed in to find out what make it is. I see it's a Honda by the center caps. By the way, someone really slapped on a few weights on the front wheel.
That looks really good on a black Splash. I thought about doing it on my Cactus Grey but decided on the hood stripe instead. Any more orange and I think will be too much.
Great hack! I'll have to try it out next time I'm in the truck. By the way, the XM app is not that great. It loses my favorite channels every time I restart it.
