I just had a great visual... you showing up at a dealer lot with your gutted '19 Ranger. I can hear you talking to the sales rep,. "yeah, I know it's missing a part here and there but it has an incredible coating of graphene! Feel it! See? You'll never find another Ranger that feels this...
I'm glad you answered that way! If consumers don't resist, ADM's will become a standard way of doing business. My wife is talking about trading in her 2020 Corsair so we'll start looking soon. An ADM sticker on anything on the lot will be enough for me to leave.
I have a splash as well but without the stripe. I have to say, this is the first time I've seen where the stripe actually works and looks like it belongs. Congrats on a nice, one of a kind Ranger!
I canceled my subscription a couple of months ago on the Ranger and stream on the iPhone using the XM app from my wife's plan. I have unlimited data so not a big deal. Downside is if the carrier signal goes away, you can't stream. My wife and I went to Cedar Key in Florida last week and...
My wife and I are leaving for Florida tomorrow (taking the Ranger for the first time). I'll be checking in on this thread on Tuesday as long as I'm not fishing ?. Can't wait to see the new Tremor.
Godspeed to you Dave!
For some of us, parking is a challenge even with the Ranger. I was totally shocked when I came back to my truck last week after parking. My only theory is that Tracy drove over from Alabama and moved my truck somehow. ?
For fun, I filled out my details on KBB and the trade-in value came back as $38,960. Mine's a 2022 XLT Splash with 3,300 miles on it. Mine's a year newer and has very low miles. I suppose the values are higher on the west coast.
While I don't envy what you went through with your beautiful Saber Ranger, I do envy what you've accomplished to get the Tremor! You did the right thing and besides, you can always go for a Raptor in a few years.
As for off roading, my pitiful experience is driving once into the back yard to...
I agree, the $56K is reasonable for what you get in the Raptor. I'd love to have one for the performance of the 405HP but I'll never use all the off-road goodies it comes with. It would be nice if Ford made a street performance truck like the SVT Lightening from nearly 20 years ago.
It's a good looking truck inside and out. I have a few observations.
I noticed that only the Lariat has the pushbutton start. Why? Is that really a luxury item these days? It can't actually be cheaper to produce a mechanical start mechanism, can it?
I only saw the Raptor with the hood...
