  1. Anyone with problems with General Grabber tires?

Honestly I didn't like the Grabber ATx all that much. I found it struggled with mud super bad. You don't really notice until you replace them but the Falken Wildpeak AT3W are much quieter in comparison.
  2. Portable compressor for airing up them tires

I think that's the move, look into replacing it when needed and step this down into another vehicle.
  3. Portable compressor for airing up them tires

Okay, so I've seen lots of votes for the Viair 300/400 and ARB single and I think just generally the 88P will likely be what I land on... Or I'll hem and haw for awhile longer and go with the "but once, cry once" mentality.
  4. Simple question, does Top Tier no ethanol fuel exist?

Of course not, it's not "free" if you start adding up operational costs. For real I just kind of wondered how much corn you would need to make a gallon of ethanol then extrapolated that to if you had planted an entire acre. Then split that out into 1 week fill-ups of 17 gallons or so. At that...
  5. Simple question, does Top Tier no ethanol fuel exist?

I don't know why I felt the needs to do the math but if you grow 1 acre of corn you could roughly expect to get about 200 gallons of ethanol or roughly 12 weeks of "free" fuel.... assuming you already have all the stuff you'd need to make straight corn-juice-fuel.
  6. Portable compressor for airing up them tires

@veedubtuner I had considered something similar too but I think for me it makes more sense to run it right off the vehicle battery.
  7. Portable compressor for airing up them tires

I'm not sure if there's a better spot to put this but I'm looking for a reasonably priced inflator to take my 33" from 15-35 psi. I "think" I have it narrowed down to; VIAIR 88P OR Stop & Go 2100 I'm kind of leaning towards the 88P since I would be doing one tire at a time. I just know the...
  8. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

Maybe use a google form or sheet? Anyways, I'd like to be added to the list too since I'm a follower and not a leader.
  9. Other uses for overhead sunglass holder

We started with beef jerky then hot dogs, tacos, firearms, then a side quest on transition lenses, then back to tacos, weed, garage door opener, more weed, tacos again, now we're back to eyeglass related. I wanted to start a whimsical thread and this did not disappoint. C'mon, it gets way too...
  10. Other uses for overhead sunglass holder

Nibble off the end of a poundcake and I think it'll fit too.
  11. Other uses for overhead sunglass holder

Didn't the Passat have a garage door opener built in though? I know my 2001 did, ymmv.
  12. Other uses for overhead sunglass holder

Woah, woah, woah, I'm in NY just thinking about pew pew is a felony. ? Now, that's a great idea.
  13. Other uses for overhead sunglass holder

For those of you that don't wear sunglasses, or regular glasses, what do you do with that wasted space overhead? I've made a label, "beef jerky", which is affixed to mine for those long days on the road. It's a tight fit, but who is trying to store a brand new package anyway? What other uses...
  14. Which aftermarket TPMS sensors work

Hey all, I just got a new set of wheels and should be getting my hands on some new rubber soon. I've seen that TPMS sensors can be procured from many different places and wildly different price points. Does anyone have any recommendations on TPMS sensors and triggering tool that they've had...
  15. 10 Used Fords We Wouldn't Touch With A 10-Foot Pole...

The EcoSport is on their... I think it's funny to even mention since no one owns one.
  16. Rangers seen but nary a Tacoma

I wonder this too, here in the Northeast it's not super friendly to off-roading with greater than 50".... hell, in NY they aren't even real fond of you continuing to breathe without paying the tax.
  17. Massachusetts Icon wheels

Well, shit. I just placed an order, hopefully floating this to the top gets you some results.
  18. Massachusetts Icon wheels

    Still available?
  19. Cactus Grey with the factory red/black stripe package

Which is the only reason they're still on mine. I could have literally burned the money and gotten at least the benefit of being warm for like 5 seconds. My gripe is the textured black is impossible to keep dust out of, I can't get from the car wash a quarter mile away to home without them...
  20. Rain

AC is only the start of the problems without power, the biggest issue is no water if you have your own well. I'll survive in heat but being able to flush and showering is important to your sanity.
