Mine is in the shop currently waiting on parts or a new transmission. I'm currently shopping around at what's left of the manual options and it's looking pretty bad.
Jeep Wrongler, Ford Brunco, ToyYoda Tacoma all have a manual option but with some serious caveats.
There's a lot there to unpack but wanting to wring someones neck I would think is pretty common, perhaps a tad misdirected on that note but still somewhat common.
I think you meant to say until parts start to fall off. We don't serve because we're drunk, we serve to stay on what's left of the road.
I meant swerve!... Maybe?
Did you see rough country also has a kit for under $1k?
I keep eyeballing it, without shocks, doesn't seem too prohibitively expensive that route.
My goal is to fit a 35" like the Colorado zr2 Bison or Bronco Sasquatch.
After 2 decades of mostly Ford vehicles the shine is really starting to...
I wouldn't call this resolved at all, the same exact things happened to my ranger with the stock pan. The truck is currently at the dealer waiting on either rebuild parts or a new transmission.
I was towed originally to the nearest dealer who reprogrammed the TCM then drove it a few months...
I'd personally try to remain calm. Give them a call, see what, if anything, they can do.
If they won't do anything then know they can likely be repaired for a hundo, hundo and a half. Or you can contact your Internet friends with a full set of sport wheels who can sell and ship just one for a...
I did read through the installation guide and from what I can tell is it has more to do with backspacing then clearance around the hub, it's possible I'm misinterpreting that too.
I guess at this point it's better to mention my goal and figure out how to get there from where I'm at.
There's a deep ditch along some powerlines I can't get through. It's pretty deep and the rear end will drag/smush in. Jeeps on 35"s will clear it no problem.
Maybe just invest in one of...
Joints makes sense since I'm just about maxed out in the front with a 2" level. Almost thinking trading it in for an fx4 might not be the worst idea either.
Yeah, that's what I got too. Seems bizarre to have the images with a kit that's not compatible. Also didn't get any clarity on what's different either. Guess I'll just look into something else.
Yeah, I was about to say. I just got 25' of 2awg and put the ends on myself. Mounted the control box near the driver headlight and routed battery to a breaker on a plate I sourced from an old computer case. It's pretty tidy overall, kinda muddy... but hey, can't have fun AND stay clean.
Directly off their website. Has the nostrils and the side steps. Can't imagine why anyone would go out of their way to upbadge with either of those options unless it's a Tremor.
Good day, I was just looking at the BDS site to see about getting a kit to lift from the +2" I have now to something more substantial.
The notes for all the 6" kits say it's not compatible with the Tremor models but I really have no understanding as to why. In the site images they do have a 6"...
This, I've been using the 400s on all my Ford vehicles over the years including, 2004 SVT Focus, 2016 Fiesta ST, 2018 Focus ST, and now the 2022 Ranger Tremor. Anecdotal but I've never had an issue with performance or clearance on any of these vehicles. The extra filtering capacity is surely...
I did wind up getting a Viair 88p which has served me well so far, I don't have all the gear to do them all at once but it's less than 15 minutes to fill all 4 from 18ish to 36psi. I just get them in range for road use and set them when I get back from the adventure.
