  11. Open diff vs. rear e locker - did I make a mistake?

    Over the weekend I was in a spot where one of the rear wheels was up and the front was sitting in mud, had I engaged the locker it would have given me enough to break free, had I not been between 2 trees I wouldn't have used the winch.

    Nothing other then magnetic force is needed. I saved some bucks and used old enterprise class hard drive magnets. There is absolutely no way these things will come off accidentally, I've even used the same type of magnets to hold my coat to a filing cabinet.
