The towing alone would make me choose the LT. It will feel less squirly when towing. You can lower air pressure to soften the ride, if needed. I would get a load range C though. E would be too high.
obd2 for the information and a trigger wire for power. The trigger wire is only to auto boot when the truck turns on. You can just push a button on the unit to turn it on.
Originally, I had this mounted on the floor of the bed, but I didn't like how exposed it was. I mounted it to the side of the SmartCap bin. I works really well. I used some steel band to act as a washer on the inside of the bin to distribute the weight and I put some rubber isolators between...
Use synthetic. Brand matter less. I would use something reputable. Costco brand tests with good quality, if you have a Costco. Otherwise, any major brand of oil should be fine.
You can watch videos from the motor oil geek on YouTube for tests and information.
If you are looking to jump in, Bambu is running their birthday sale. $200 off their printers and... that's a helluva deal. If you can make the jump now, do it.The P1S is fantastic.
I've got a bunch of crap hard mounted in the center cubby and need a cover. Thought I would integrate my HAM radio mic mount into it. Work in progress, but I am happy with how its coming out.
Shoutout to @Griffin_W for the base STL file to get started. There will probably be some redesigns...
Are you stock? If so, 285/70r17 BFG KO2 will fit. I ran them. BFG run a tad small. You might kiss the crash bars occasionally, in reverse and full lock.
yeah, lesson learned. To late now though. I think I can clean up the edges a little bit but its in and I am happy. I can always replace the dash top, if I need to (sale or something) but... I am good with it.
install was a PITA. The vent was glued/molded in. It’s good from a few feet but don’t look too closely.
the gauge is dope. I’d recommend a different mount.
It's a common misconception that dealerships don't want to perform warranty work. The shop rate for warranty work is higher so... Mother Ford will pay the dealership more money than you would for the same repair. Dealerships love warranty work because they get to charge Mother Ford more money.
