The towing alone would make me choose the LT. It will feel less squirly when towing. You can lower air pressure to soften the ride, if needed. I would get a load range C though. E would be too high.

obd2 for the information and a trigger wire for power. The trigger wire is only to auto boot when the truck turns on. You can just push a button on the unit to turn it on.

Use synthetic. Brand matter less. I would use something reputable. Costco brand tests with good quality, if you have a Costco. Otherwise, any major brand of oil should be fine. You can watch videos from the motor oil geek on YouTube for tests and information.

Are you stock? If so, 285/70r17 BFG KO2 will fit. I ran them. BFG run a tad small. You might kiss the crash bars occasionally, in reverse and full lock.
