We just got a Rockwood Mini Lite 2104s. We were looking for a trailer bigger on the inside than the outside (any Dr. Who fans here?). We found this 22’ trailer that has a u-shaped dinette, a nice size couch, a full bath and kitchen. What makes it happen is there’s no bedroom. When it’s...
So I bought an inexpensive (cheap) set up trailer mirrors for the Ranger. They clip to the truck’s mirrors and are held on my ratcheting straps. The Ranger’s tapered mirrors, and the poorly designed straps, made it near impossible for the mirrors to stay on. I will be returning them.
Anyone...
Well I put in 2019 Ford Ranger into the search and it came back with those Ford rear wheel well liners. But, as P.J. pointed out, they are for an F-150. Which leaves me like Jim -- unable to find the liners. Given the muck that gets thrown up there, I certainly hope somebody comes up with...
Does anyone know about these rear wheel well liners? They appear on the official Ford parts website.

Because I’m using a ham radio putting out 50 watts it was a little more critical to get a correct SWR reading so I use a Diawa meter. Remember, at 3-1 SWR you’re loosing 25% of your power. That’s a big loss for a CB that only runs (legally) 4 watts...
What brand of SWR meter do you have? The less expensive types (Radio Shack) are notoriously inaccurate. Better ones have an adjustment to zero the meter. Also don’t forget that because the two antennas are so close to each other (less than a 1/4 wavelength at the frequencies you’re using)...
Everybody should watch Doc’s video in post #91. Best explanation of premium vs. regular fuel. It all comes down to this — an engine under load (high temps or towing like the manual says) may experience pre-ignition where the fuel mixture explodes prior to the spark plug firing. This causes a...
CB radios remain popular for road travel mainly because they’re cheap and easy to install. Most GMRS radios sold now are hand—held units which put out only slightly more power than CBS and do not have exterior antennas. There are mobile, high-power GMRS radios that will work with external...
Just brought home a 2021 Rockwood Mini Lite 2104S. Dealer installed the weight distributing hitch and it towed nicely. GVWR is 6k lbs. Truck pulled OK and 65 mph wasn't a problem, though mileage on this first run was 10 mph. Hoping for better. Maybe have the wife get out and push a little.
Yes, that's the controller I have. Is there any adjustment of do I leave it up to it's own devices? And can you activate the trailer brakes apart from the truck brakes, perhaps by pushing the control button?
I have the Ford brake controller, or at least the one that the Ford dealer installed. I'm picking up my trailer tomorrow. Never towed a camper before. Is there an adjustment of the controller and, if so, how do you do it.
Thanks for helping this newbie.
