We're going to the Chicago RV show next month looking to buy a travel trailer to pull behind the Ranger. Looking to stay under 5000 GVWR so we have leeway to haul a bunch of gear. Like something around 18-22'. Any suggestions?

It is my understanding that the electric brake controller must be purchased separately and is not part of the trailer tow package. Seems strange to me, but when you consider that Ford is marketing this to the sport crowd that might only pull a wave runner or a bike trailer it might make sense...

I want to secure a box in the bed to hold my tool boxes. There are two threaded holes in each sidewall just behind the wheel well that I could use an anchor points. I had a bed liner sprayed in and, of course, they got the material in the holes. I have to run a thread chaser through them but...

I believe that Ford has not come up with a "factory" button. The controller is theirs, though as we all know that could just mean they appropriated a third-party's controller for their own. We'll have to see. More info as I dig it out.

Factory/Ford/OEM brake controller installed by the dealer in my 2019 XLT. Part #VKB3Z2C006A. Don't have the trailer yet -- gotta save up some more nickels. And while I'm sure the after-market controllers are OK, I decided to go the factory route. Each to his own.
