I spoke with a local to me dealer yesterday his allocations for '23 have been few and far between as for custom orders, may have to settle for something that comes in with or without particular options i was looking for and look outside my state.
Also '24 MY is only going to be a 6 month build...
Had some warm weather roll in so i broke out the rattle can and did a little modification, 3 coats of color and 3 of clear, with plenty of dry time between each. Happy with it. :)
I must have gotten a fresh tank of the non winter blend (less oxygenated) gas from Costco because on that tankful I'm up to 20.2 from 18.8, with the same (as much as possible) driving speed and route (highway @75+) Also they were back to back fill ups from the same Costco about 7 days apart...
I went with the Viofo A229 there was a $50 off coupon making it $209, the additional gps mount and hardwire kit to use in my other car was $28, I also purchased the lens filter $12.90 and 64GB card 16.99, so for $267 I’m set for both vehicles.
And your pedal feel is better now ?
I was able to do the Forscan bleed, at first it seemed better (maybe placebo effect) but now the mushy & pedal travel is back, fluid level in MC is correct, i guess the old school bleed is next for me.
Can the camera be removed leaving the mount in place to use in another vehicle?
i have two vehicles and as i do with my RD i move it between them and have the wiring hardwired in place on both vehicles.
Oh wow the OBD would be a convenient source, i have never had an interest in dash cams until that close call, i watched Vortex Radar YT channel he just posted a comparo and road test on a bunch of different brands, thanks for the link i'll check it out.
After a close call last night where I almost got ran into the guard rail as a speedster who was going north of a hundred squeezed in and made a lane change between me and the car in the next lane
He almost wiped out trying to gain control from the swerve.
I looked on Amazon is there another...
Mine is a 8/19 build. i think what did mine in was lack of use, the first owner had only put on 7,300 miles when i purchased it in Jan '22. It now has 14,230, when i first got signs of it going out i put it on a maintainer but it was to late the damage was already done.
Replaced with Interstate...
Thanks for the compliment I see you have the Lund Moon Visor also (or was it Lunar Visor) I cant remember which it was called but it gives the truck a different look plus i didn't want to drill the holes in the roof. Very nice rigs you have there.
Yea I'm pretty sure my auto update was turned on but will go back and check, i had taken this pic of the radio update status & my account page.
It really doesn't bother me cause i still get emails from Ford Corporate telling me there still trying on getting me my ordered '21 Ranger XLT a year...
