From the beautiful pics and your summary of the trip seems like a good experience, wishing you the best with your new ride.
Also how do you like the ride with the Tremor multi leafs vs the mono leaf in the ā19 in regards to the jostling or side to side motion?
Iām still dealing with that even...
Ok that's a nice looking one the black wheels look good with the white body color and you'll have it all broken in on the ride back.
Also you could be around 6 months out (from now) waiting for a 6G and i'm not to excited from looking at the pics of them either, they might be better in person...
yea good explanation makes sense, just kinda hard to look at a vehicle that s totaled when 80% of it still looks fine,
So more vehicles totaled in the junkyard is better than more people totaled in
the graveyard, that's a good tradeoff.
It's a amazing how vehicles after a crash that doesn't appear to bad from the outside become 'throw away' vehicles
Could be replacement parts cost, labor etc. and/or the Ins Co's are to easy to throw in the towel i know a lot of variables but what a shame your truck doesn't look like a total...
So what's your thinking a '23 or move over to a 6th gen model ? And you got to decide on a color too, that's the hard part for me cause i like a few of the ranger color choices.
Saw this late, so sorry about your truck, good to know your OK, amazing what looks like on the face not much damage turns into a 'total.'
Wishing you good fortune in looking for a replacement.
personalize this and don't be derailed get back on track;

When you did the bleed is it necessary to remove the wheels or can the bleeders be accessed from under & behind each wheel?
I've never done this type of procedure before and also contemplating taking it to the dealer or local repair shop, btw the Forscan bleed didn't help any.
Thanks.
My previously owned 2018 F150 trans had the issues described, more so than my Ranger now, although shifting into reverse sometimes results in a bump/thump feel.
Be interesting to see how this lawsuit unfolds.
I was thinking that same thing, I changed out the shocks to the Bilstien 5100ās and adjusted the fronts to level it out also changed the tires to a size larger, donāt know if any of that would make the dealer have a issue about the lean being warranted, but I would guess they could try to.
Hmm, and by removing the factory 1/4'' that would give the the 3/4'', any issue with driveshaft pinion angle that might cause? I not to familiar with that kind of stuff other than some postings about vibration due to incorrect angle.
thanks for the idea.
Yea agree on the poor quality whoever is the manufacturer/supplier of the spring I'm guessing was the cheapest bidder to get the contract, not sure if i want to go the dealer route, if arching it is not a workable solution, I'm going to replace it
I put two tube sand bags over the right side...
So I have the lean like others have, any thoughts or experience on arching the left spring about a inch by a shop who does that work?
I took measurements from the top surface of the leaf to the underside of the frame and there is at least 3/4" less of a gap on drivers side and you can even...
Not sure of the color code I threw the can out, it was Duplicolor silver metallic,
I wasn't to concerned if it's a shade off from the factory piece I don't expect any side by compare with a Fx4 lol.
If I can find the receipt I'll respond back.
BTW the taping is a pita & tedious but worth the...
