That's why i asked to try and get a consensus fwiw i too have the ext warranty for a 'just in case' either with this or the tranny both big ticket repairs.
Yes some do others don't, my '19 has the slightest click sound when shutting off the HVAC, but the hot cold blending is working so it's something I'm monitoring.
At this point i only have 17,000 miles so that's not a lot of use for a '19.
So at what miles did you first notice the noise of the warped blend door?
Thinking about increasing the time/miles of my ext warranty so i'm covered just in case.
TIA.
Is there one? I never noticed, wondering if it's there but not working, can you guys check yours?
(not the flashing bar for crash avoidance/ braking)
thanks.
My hope or wish coming out of the class action would be to pressure Ford to either fix or replace them and make that the answer for a customer so the dealer can’t refuse .
The $25 or $100 is pretty worthless if Ford can skate fixing them.
If this suspected part is replaced would this also take care of the dreaded blend door warping problem many have experienced, but never a recall issued for that?
It shows it here as not listed under the '8 year' so from what i'm reading it falls under the '24'
With your wifes car could there have been a recall or customer satisfaction campaign??
BTW i looked up for 2019 MY that's what i have, maybe Ford changed it for '20 MY.
The warranty coverage...
I have this one, has a bit of padding but not real 'thick' i'm satisfied with it you might be able to add some padding or foam but i left mine alone.

I know it's a Chevy but just a idea of the problems of rushing this EV tech, along with the inherent problems like time to charge, any vehicles using the limited stations ahead of you, how does the winter weather cold and summer heat effect battery life and even winter snow road conditions when...
So dealing with the long travel/mushy pedal I tried the Forscan ABS bleed, didn’t really make it any better, I know some reported it worked for them so don’t discount trying it, then while the truck was in the shop yesterday for the global leaf spring swap I had them do a traditional bleed...

Also had the brake bleed procedure done, the mechanic didn't notice and large amount of air bubbles and the brake pedal travel did not improve any.
I picked up the truck this evening, immediately noticed it was sitting a bit higher, drove some local streets over the speed bumps and a RR crossing there is less of the stiff or harsh feed back inside the cab.
And then hit the highway, while it was a short run i was able to hold 70 mph over...
