Received the FactionFab 1.5ā Spacers via @Stage3Motorsports. Now Iāll be able to mount the 285/70/17 Goodyear Duratracs my brother had on his Power Wagon. They have about a year of life left on them, so Iād like to see if 285 will be the size I stick with.
Replaced the link I damaged, changed the oil, and adjusted the headlights. Still need to adjust the Diode Dynamic Pro fog lights so I donāt blind everyone.
Would I be better served finding a shop that handles 4x4ās to do my alignment or would a local tire shop suffice?
If Iām going to scrape the hell out of something, let it be the factory hitch. The small bit of off-roading I have done, I have yet to really worry about the rear scraping on anything.
I can vouch for the Yakima HoldUp bike rack. The hitch bolt that comes with the rack doesnāt hold the rack snug, it holds that sucker tight.
**The only negative I have with the rack is it prevents me from opening the tailgate to the fully open/down position. And the swinging attachments made...
I attempted my leveling kit this weekend, and I had he unfortunate luck of having both cv shafts slide out on me, as well as having one of the sway bar end-links pop at the sway bar end. If I would've removed the axle nut and disconnected the sway bar at the links, I never would have run into...
Thanks for the tip. I tried yesterday with a clamp, as well the barbaric way of a hammer to no avail. I'm worried that after it popped out that the integrity of the link may be affected.
Installed the @Fordrangerlifts.com 2.5ā Leveling kit. Unfortunately during the process I popped one of the sway bar end links. Now to find a replacement before taking her to have an alignment down. As of the moment of completion the front has a 1ā larger gap than the rear. It does appear it have...
While driving back from Missouri the front sensors were frozen over and went off as I was pulling into a gas stations. Scared the hell out of me until I realized the problem.
That is the @589FAB Ranger and I believe the show was the first public showing of said tire carrier. Looks extremely sturdy, but you will need into both sides of the bed as well as the tailgate for mounting. Not for the faint of heart.
Took a week off for my birthday to do a little camping and to attend the Moore 2021 Overland Expo in Springfield, Mo(just checked into the hotel a couple hours ago).
Day one my brother(in his Power Wagon) did some off-roading in Citrus Wildlife Management Area in Citrus County, Florida. That...
