To answer OP's question, yes they can be adjusted. I haven't fiddled with it myself, but I believe there is something in the manual for it. If you want just a general overview, ChrisFix has a good video on how to get them in generally the right place. When towing, the rear of the vehicle squats...
Are these ones thin or thick? Kind of hard to tell from the pic. Looks kind of like a thin vinyl that goes on. If there is plastic/rubber underneath I'm definitely going with these.
Can use regular cruise control. It's in vehicle settings via the dash. Just have to turn adaptive off. Haven't found any good work around other than to just not rely on it in the winter.
Hello all,
Have an off-road trip planned for the spring and had a question. I'm going to be going with a Tacoma, wrangler(2 door), and an fx4 f150. The plan was to make my tremor the recovery vehicle if needed, but I'm slightly concerned about the weight of the f150 and whether or not the...
Upon further review, they are LED, but not rigid lights. Bulb replacement is looking like the best option. Will likely order some diode dynamics bulbs and install and adjust over the holiday weekend.
Not sure what mileage rules are on a lemon, but certainly sounds like you got one. Whatever they decide is the issue, I would let it get fixed, but usually problems brought on by cold are a snowball effect.
This is why 4 auto is being implemented on newer vehicles. You get all the benefits of 4wd when you need it, but it takes the guesswork out for the driver. Personally the thought process for me is "would I feel more confident on this surface if I was in 4wd?" If the answer to that is yes, I...
Tried the tint truck with spray on, no go. Going to likely have to go cover. Not 100 percent sure if I can change the bulb. Might have to look into that this weekend or over the holiday. I think part of the issue is that they are facing into no man's land. Will try and adjust them while checking...
Up to you. Generally, I find it fine in 2wd long as I'm not driving like a dummy(or if I want to drive like a dummy). But, as others have said 4w go doesn't =4w stop. Key factor is space. I'm never worried about my driving when driving in bad conditions, just extra mindful of everyone else.
Lariat tremor with led fogs. Was wondering if there was maybe like a lens cap that could be fabricated and jammed in front of it? But that might lead to water build up...
Anyone know of a way to turn the factory rigid fog lights into more of a yellow hue without going aftermarket replacement? General consensus after a few days in winter is that they give off enough light, just not the right color light.
If you have your VIN available, most dealers can run a build sheet from that. Will tell you all the factory items that were installed for your particular truck.
Count me into "you crazy man". Besides that no matter what you do, your gonna need either an adjustable or drop hitch when towing with the tremor. Sits up pretty high even when loaded for most trailers.
