Battery low in key fob or truck, or I've had ice underneath the door handle so it wouldn't pick up that I grabbed it. Also doesn't work so hot with thick winter mits.
Absolutely normal. Occasionally takes a little longer than that depending on if all the gears are in the right place. Will note, need to shift to neutral before engaging 4 low. Found that out halfway up an incline lol
Dunno if you all have the rear locker option, but I've found it to be the best solution thus far to the switching in and out of 4wd all the time problem. Click it on and it helps get going, then turns itself off above 25mph.
Usually the need for lockers also comes with the need for additional ground clearance. Plus like was mentioned added cost and complexity. I would argue that you run into ground clearance issues when offroading before the need for lockers. Now mind you some locker stuff can be overcome with...
I'm just angry I moved to a supposedly snowy state and it's been fairly dry so far. Although with windchills it's supposed to feel like minus 20 tonight. ?
Try sticking something between the a pillar and the side of the dash and let us know if it goes away. Thinking something squishy like a piece of rubber or even some folded up paper.
I remember a thread somewhere of someone's entire back glass doing something similar. Might have a look around and see if ya can't find the solution that was found in that thread. If I remember right it was something about defroster install.
The sun. Having a car that sat out in the Cali sun near Fresno where it could get to the 100-teens, a good wash for the dust that would settle on it, and a decent coat of wax/ceramic. Always always have a window shade to protect the dash and have ceramic window tint. The outside color will fade...
@OregonRangerTremor
1. Sweet color
2. Had no idea the wolfhaus didn't require any drilling
3. Kind of hard to see in the picture, but how is your interior light bar hooked up? Wouldn't mind something similar in my tremor.
Some thoughts. I don't mind people being nit picky. Gives me some heads up on what to be mindful of and what requires immediate service. As far as comparing to a full size truck and it's options, the f150 has been ford bread and butter for years. They don't want to make their smaller trucks...
I've found that occasionally trying to remote start from Ford pass when it's that cold doesn't work, but remote start with key always does. Who wants to get in a cold truck anyway? I'm weird and give it at least 5 min when it's that cold but that's more for my comfort then the trucks. Never had...
