Uhauls are very heavy. Should be fine unless you put everything on the back of the trailer. They feel like solid steel construction.

Those 2 have never been considered a high quality car brand. They have tried to move up market a lot the last 10 years. Basically a dawoo.

I use a 3” drop. Mostly tow uhaul trailers. If its heavy enough the truck sags a bit anyway. I always end up loading the bed too. 5” should be fine.

You can request a newer trailer too. And rent from a uhaul facility not a gas station that rents these. The facilities actually perform maintenance and do a decent job at keeping up on them.

Truck will do fine. Find a huge empty parking lot and get a feel for it quickly. Try backing into a spot or drive around some cones. Really take time and experience to be good at it. Be mindful, a trailer that short is actually harder to back up than a long one. Just don’t forget its behind...
