  1. Gas Grill Recommendations?

I tend to go the "replace the cheaper gas grill more often" route. Just me and the wife home now that the kids are destroying their own houses LMAO. I also have a small Weber kettle for charcoal cooks, and a Weber Smokefire pellet grill. That thing does an awesome job of low temp smoking and...
  2. Taking to shop for MPG issues; what to check?

That's not far from what I was getting. I was levelled, tuned, and ran 91. And I do all the things a guy who tries to maximize his mpg does. Good gas can make a difference on its own, IMO.
  3. Removing tailgate letters

When I debadged my Sierra I used some strong fishing line and GooGone. A little heat helps too.
  4. Welp, add me to the list.

Let's give him/her/them/they a headache and a nagging groin pull too. I mean, this can't be the only shitty thing they've done in this life.

  7. Ranger to Bronco bolt pattern

Hi folks, does anyone know if the rims from a Ranger work on the Bronco? Failing that, is there any other vehicles that my now useless to me but still very good winter tires from Ol' Ferd might fit? Thanks!
  8. SSM 51754 2023 Bronco/Ranger/Explorer - 2.3L Engine - Loss Of Coolant With Coolant In Oil - Built On 27-Mar-2023 And Through 18-May-2023

Generally speaking, unless there is an obvious problem, or the color match is way off or some other out of spec condition affecting the fit is evident, the parts go on the next unit. If a problem was discovered, most times an audit of the previous 25 jobs was done and if a defect in that sample...
  9. SSM 51754 2023 Bronco/Ranger/Explorer - 2.3L Engine - Loss Of Coolant With Coolant In Oil - Built On 27-Mar-2023 And Through 18-May-2023

I worked on the engine dress line at GM Oshawa making Chebbie Impalas, Buick Regals and Pontiac Grand Prix for about half of my 35 years, doing pretty much every operation there was to do. I would think an obvious crack, like the kind when the guy hits it with the forklift while he was...

  11. Spark Plug Replacement @ 100k miles

Yeah, I remember the first time I changed the oil in Ol' Ferd The Fantastic Ford....I came out on the other side of it all, but it was touch and go for a while there.... If you are doing it yourself, I'm glad you have a 4 day weekend coming up, it's tighter than a mouse's ear in there. I...

  14. Leather interior cleaning?

Ahhhhh....the dogged determination with which you flail the Gold Eagle brands far and wide gives me almost a grudging respect for your commitment and unswerving, almost childlike obedience to the corporate overlords. *and after previewing this post, I am surprised you haven't had the whole...
  15. furious taco

Wow. I never thought much about tacos until I joined this forum. After a lifetime working in a GM plant, I just kinda check the N/A box when it comes to considering Toyota lol but you folks have really enlightened me about the whole cult of personality surrounding those things. I've never been...

Hey folks had a good one last night I thought the group might enjoy.... wife and I were in my truck at a light and when it turned green, a Taco was coming from the other direction and when he hit the gas it made all kinds of noise and fury and grunting and groaning and took off at about, oh...
  17. Poll - Should forum members be allowed to post in all caps?

I WONDERED WHEN SONMEONE WAS GONNA GET ALL FIRED UP ABOUT THAT, BUT HONESTLY I THINK A POLL TO SHAME THE OFFENDERS IS A LITTLE MUCH. IF YOUR CORTISOL LEVELS GET ALL F****D UP WHEN YOU SEE THIS, HIT THE IGNORE BUTTON SNOWFLAKE.
  18. New ranger! Factory defect?

I would leave that alone, don't start pulling or cutting it. side steps or rocksliders and you will never se it.
  19. Show yours, if you have this issue

I can see that you're joking, but don't blame the union for protecting him. People have human rights, besides, Ford hired him, not the union. I doubt that even the most nimble fingered Chinese kids Ford could ever outsource truck production to would still have the same issues??? To the OP...
