I couldn't find any Canadian tuners that I would trust. I ended up going with Torrie at Unleashed. It was kinda expensive, but with no other high profile options I made my decision after lots of reading and consideration between the Ford tune, which was way more money, and 5 Star or Livernois...
I was very happy with Unleashed. Super quick service, truck ran great the whole time i had it. I even got Torrie to tune my GMC 5.3 V8 it seems to run just fine and smmmmooooooth shifts....
Looks awesome. Lots of turnover the last little while it seems. Good luck in your new ride, I really like being in a full size truck again, gas mileage be damned.
yeah that seems to be a sane and reasonable approach. Uncharted territory for me LMAO
Some of the defects are through to the primer and/or metal so that's why I was thinking of a touchup pen or something. This is for sure, 10000%, ain't no point in denying it -- a machine job. There is wayy...
Thanks for the input. I just did a good wash and quick spritz of graphene to hold me back while i do me sum lernin'.
I don't plan to make this into any kind of show truck. I want to do it once, and make it look the best I can. Good grief there is a ton of scratches, I think the original owner...

First up, the recommended cable for Forscan EX101. $75 CAN or $50 USD
*SOLD*Used RedTek Global Window operation module. Works great but I would recommend it to anyone in a warm climate, as this Australian part doesn't seem to like Canadian...
I think you turned me on to Carzilla already but thanks again for the reminder.
This old GarageMansCompanion of mine will soon be looking much better than it did the day it was dropped in my driveway, in fact, it already does?
I don't even have my Ranger anymore and I can tell you it didn't look like that, and shame on anyone at the dealership that wouldn't see that's an issue. Even the receptionist should be able to tell you that's not in spec.
One other thing I was wondering, since I'm old and my shoulders hate me, I think this will take a couple weeks to do the whole truck. Should I do the whole process on whatever panels: clay, compound, polish, and then graphene, or wait and do the graphene when the whole thing has been corrected?
Shipping from L1C4S6.
Smoke Chrome, was on my Ranger for about 6 months or so. Simple to install, looks sharp.:sunglasses:
It's in pretty good shape, but it is an exhaust pipe. Sorry for the crap pic.
$90 CAN or $70 US. To be fair, my flexibility on price depends on shipping costs. Thanks.
Thanks Dave. I saw him called Pan The Advertiser on another page LMAO. He's a bit cloying but he does present good information, once you wade through all the rawdog Ned Flanders sex appeal he's got goin' on
The truck is new to me. An old guy had it before me and I've been busy taking all the cheap aftermarket plastic chrome blingy looking crap off it once I'm done with the process it will never see one of those scratch factories again
Thanks. I saw a video recommending that particular unit as well, guy talked a lot but that was one of my takeaways: get a 7424XP. And I didn't realize the grit breaks down as you use it, good info to know.
It's funny, I worked in an auto plant building cars and trucks for 35 years and never...
Hey folks, got a bit of paint on Ol' Scuffy in need of some loving. I plan to do a paint correction to get most of the swirls and cobwebs outta there, does anyone have any tips or advice to give a complete buffoon with a buffer ?
Hey, It happens LMAO...
A couple years ago, at the end of a particularly grueling day, I backed my five ton into a coworkers old hoopty Gimpala. I swear that space was empty when I first pulled into the parking lot. Anyway, I told the guy, he said he needed new brakes so I just give him $500...
