I can understand your trepidation when you see that kind of information when researching a truck you actually want to buy. I know I only started reading and hearing about fuel in oil right AFTER I got it home. I kept a close eye on the oil level, it did rise a bit but I changed it a little...
I wouldn't do it, but I respect the work it takes to create that and keep it looking good.
The first car I ever modded was a 98 Buick Regal GS, supercharged, tuned, CAI, brakes and suspension. Pretty quick sleeper, for a Grampa car. Kids all laughed until they rolled up to the next three stop...
Full disclosure: I'm a Lariat owner, creeping on an XL & XLT thread. But I gotta say I prefer your dash layout to the one we got. Yours looks much simpler and easier to read. Wish a swap was something simple.
I love the LEDs, didn't think they would be as good as they are. Regardless, no way is 500 enough to make you whole. In this situation, I would get an XLT and save a few bucks. Don't give away your hard earned money to Ford Corporate, that's what the horse will do anyway???
That is beautiful. If he was my buddy I would say good words to him about it too. Actually, does he want a new buddy??? I could use a nice rip around town in something like that  .
That's my approach too  . But having said I thought about doing the same thing as OP and decided against it, but I don't know for how long. Eventually I should run out of other Ranger things to blow my life savings on and circle back to the red tow hooks. ???
All the tuners claim to deliver better mpg. I have Unleashed 91 octane performance and towing tunes and have been very happy with the drivability and customer service from Torrie.
Canada is quasi-socialist, with capitalist underpinnings. I prefer that over unfettered capitalism and tax avoidance by the super rich.
Think of it this way: if a billionaire collected old newspapers and other shit instead of dollar bills, he would be called a hoarder and sent for mental help...
So far it seems okay, the cord and hose storage is not as good as the Simoniz model I replaced. And it comes with a foam cannon, but it doesn't make a ton of foam but maybe I need to learn to use it better. I would buy this one again, based on my experience so far.
Paid over 20 bucks for a cable when I was in a bind, it worked in some vehicles, but would not allow AA to work in my Ranger. Changed out for a shorter, cheaper version and it works perfectly now.
I try and wait to fill up until my arm and leg have grown back, although I am at the pumps a lot more with this truck than my old Volt I can tell you that much. I usually fill up between 1/4 and empty, unless there is a deal close by. Usually Costco, but always top tier premium.
I think every vehicle I have owned in the last 40 years have had some kind of service interval for brake fluid. Doesn't mean it got done on schedule, but the schedule was there for me to disregard.
I can't think of a single team leader/lead hand/QC Dept. personnel that I knew in the last 25 years who would intentionally let anything like that pass their station and not flag it for repair. Certainly there was the odd asshole on the line who might try to sneak something through on occasion...
