Wow, a little late to the story but glad you guys are okay. How long does it take to get Tito moving? Is it like trying to motivate a surly teenager, or worse, a high seniority UAW employee???
I'm in with the failing battery crew. Like Phil said, do the fob battery first.
In my old Volt, when the fob battery was failing it would make the horn and lights go off at completely random times, like 3 in the morning, and at first I'm thinking who's the idiot?? Turns out it was me lol
I am very happy with mine. It does everything I want, and it is comfortable on longer drives. would I like a few more options and content? hell yea brother! Would I dump this to go to another truck? hell naw brother! Ford did a pretty good job putting this truck together.
I've been thinking of doing the same, but if I go to the Costco near me it works out to be $0.10 per litre more than their regular which is pretty much always the lowest price around by a couple cents per litre (which works out to $0.38 more per US gallon). The local Shell station owned by a...
I spent the day with it. Vacuumed it, power washed the floor mats, put 303 on all the exterior seals and plastic bits, the tonneau cover, and the interior. Then took my girl for a spin to Taco Bell for dinner.
I didn't take any pictures because I think I have enough credibility around here to...
FWIW, just checked my oil for the first time in about three weeks and it's right where it should be. I was having some fuel in the oil at the beginning, but it seems these engines just need to mature a bit and the oil thing (usually) settles itself out.

I might check to make sure I...
seems like a lotta hassle. ya know they make them brand new so we don't have to go through all the runaround of making your own hybrid??? but the car tech nerd in me says go for it, that would be cool.
I hope everything goes well for you, but when it comes to stealerships you might as well
"Assume" it gets done into one hand and shit into the other, and tell me which one fills up first. ??
Guys? Do I have too much money? I would rather use brand new towels on the painted surfaces, then throw them away or otherwise repurpose them to non paint related jobs. Washing them and keeping the dirty ones separate from the waxy ones just seems like a hassle.
If you can wait a bit you can have mine for free, once I find a few uninterrupted days in a row to remove it and return the PCV to stock.
But a better option, if you absolutely must have one, would be to get something with steel lines, the rubber hoses on mine didn't last a year. It does catch...
