  1. Livernois Tuning released

It sounds like the tire adjustment tool is available right through the tuner by the end user?
  2. Did I make a mistake?

Unless you plan to do quite a bit of off roading (taller sidewalls offer some protection to your wheels) I'd say wheel size is mostly a stylistic preference. I'm going down from 17 to 16, myself. You didn't make a mistake if you like the look of your 18s! Also, 17 is the most popular size...
  3. Plywood Topper?

Off to a strong start! At first I was like ? but now I think it might be awesome
  4. Livernois Tuning released

It's extremely mild and I'm sure they'll say it's working as intended. You can't really feel it unless you're looking for it. I'm inclined to think it's the "feature" that others have others have mentioned ?‍♂️
  5. Rear cam vs. License Plate Lights

I did two things: first, installed the weakest cheapest LEDs I could find. Helped a ton. Then I put two pieces of black tape, positioned so it just blocks the light shining above the plate, but the plate is still illuminated.
  6. Livernois Tuning released

That's good to know.. My tranny has begun clunking some when I'm coasting and it wants to downshift. I can't predict when it'll do it. Then again, I've also never had an auto before. I hope the tune smooths things out!
  7. Livernois Tuning released

Ordered mine! Never had a tune before in any car or truck. I can't wait!
  8. Led Headlight bulbs

I am using auxito 12k lumen h11s in the low and fogs. Done deal there for me; great cutoff and I've never been flashed. Tried the 16k auxito in the highs and liked it a lot. It's very focused, but as a result there are two hot spots. On the downside, it's also intense enough to confuse my auto...
  9. My take on bed lights!

Excuse the mud! After many, many hours (I work slow) I took one of these kits (Bed light kit) and tied it into the 12v outlet harness. I don't have the accessory outlet, but it's pre-wired. I used the blank plug and inserted my own pins (not a perfect fit, but they work fine). I cut the 3rd...
  10. Tiny tip

Someone on Facebook cut their tailpipe down to the resonator so I thought I'd do the same to avoid snagging it. What do you guys think?
  11. Terrain management upgrade?

Does the entire center console need to be pulled to get at the switch?
  12. Oil filter relocation

Yep! Through the dipstick tube. No messes, drips, or spills!
  13. 5 star tuning

Does sport mode still do anything after the 5 star tune?
  14. Sharing a few nice modifications

Plug a 110v appliance into your outlet. In my case, a plug in air freshener; though a night light would also work. The system detects that you're using 110v power and disables start/stop.
  15. Oil filter relocation

I used an oil extractor with great results for my first oil change. Never removed the drain plug or even went under the truck. Might be worth considering? Costs about 3x what the fumoto plug costs, but you can use it on other vehicles too. As for the relocation, Idk of any kits specifically...
  16. Sharing a few nice modifications

I used a plug in air freshener to disable my Start/stop
  17. Katzkin Medium Stone/Puddy Seat Kit Going In

Are you doing the install yourself? I've been considering doing them myself, but I'm not sure if I should
  18. First time buying a truck - please help!

I have all of that minus Fx4, but locking diff and I paid 26k minus tax. That was a month prior to the pandemic. They can do better! Edit: never mind, I misread. I have an XL with stx To compare the the taco, I absolutely loved the way it looked. The back seats are more cleverly designed and...
  19. SELLING my 2019 Ranger XLT FX4

I'm really sorry man.. I know I'd be devasted to let go of my truck. See you back for the redesign?
