Excuse the mud! After many, many hours (I work slow) I took one of these kits (Bed light kit) and tied it into the 12v outlet harness. I don't have the accessory outlet, but it's pre-wired. I used the blank plug and inserted my own pins (not a perfect fit, but they work fine).

I cut the 3rd strip in half to make 2x 30" strips for the topper. The kit comes with two separate plugs so I can unplug the topper lights to fold it down.

Total cost was about 20 for the lights, I already had the molex pins, and 6 dollars for gaffers tape to hold the wires to the topper. So not too shabby for under 30 bucks!

Also left some wiring out to make my own 12v outlet later on.

It's BRIGHT!! Now, I just need to reprogram the power points for 18hrs, or else after 2hrs, the lights can't be turned on.
