Same here...could do it myself but it's nice to have solid maintenance documentation...not only for warranty but in some cases for trade-in. I know my local Subaru dealer will only take vehicles as Certified Pre-Owned if they have good paperwork.
There's a Secure Remote Start option in Forscan...I enabled this and the Fob is required to be able to take the Truck out of park. The Sync screen is disabled as well.
I didn't test this before changing settings in Forscan...not sure with the As-Built settings if you'd be able to put it in...
I did a software update after changing Forscan options...I didn't notice anything reverting to As-Built.

Car interiors these days don't have the problems with sun damage older ones did. On the exteriors, you can still get some paint...
It's a black camera surround with satin automotive clear coat. On the emblem it's Ford magnetic color background and black letters, covered with a gloss 2K clear coat. The biggest job of the whole project is to mask the letters.
I used to chase paint chips but now have XPEL on everything I drive.
Doesn't cost much more than the insurance deductible for a broken LED headlight assembly.
Great mod. Excellent protection for sills and if you run a step it keeps shoes from rubbing on the paint.
