Hey all,
I've been trying to find a cat-back setup for my Tremor. I have the SPD 3" downpipe to 3" cat-back.
When I reached out to MBRP for one of their exhaust setups, they said they hadn't tested the fit on a Tremor. I also spoke with Frank at s3motorsports and he isn't sure either.
Is...
Fair enough. If I bought a setup through you and it didn't fit, would I be able to return it? I'll keep asking around to see if anyone has set up exhaust on their Tremor. Thank you!
Hey Frank, thanks for posting about this.
I bought an SPD 3" downpipe to 3" cat-back many months back and want to finally get it installed. However, I'm running into issues finding cat-back systems compatible with the Tremor package. I spoke with MBRP, for example, and they said they've never...
So, to recap, 1" = works with stock setup, no modifications required.
And are these the spacers everyone is talking about?

Thanks for the great thread/pictures.
Looks like I'll just have to get a tune. Which means more mods for the car. Darn.
I read another 6+ threads on the topic. Seems I have the intro to the 10-speed situation, along with some potential drivetrain fun. I'll get the usuals checked out and make sure it's all good.
Sorry for the dumb...
Hey all - didn't see this in the overall list of known issues.
Quite often, my truck will shift at very...weird points when going slow. For example today, I was in S coming home. Drove into my drive way and slowed down (only going 5mph or less here) and it shifted into 1st, it felt like. But...
Well, dang, thanks all. This is a lot to digest. :)
As for the mod bug, it's too late for me. I come from sports cars (most recent being an M5 and a CTS-V). This was supposed to be less expensive and help me get out more, haha.
I already have a downpipe in my garage and am itching to get the...
OK, makes sense.
What is your approach to making it look more aggressive? I'm not talking about the wheels sticking out a foot - maybe a few inches.
I don't know, I saw a local Ranger with a hood, front grill, and tires popping out a bit - I looked good.
I've been paying closer attention to trucks with the "wider" tires that stick out past the fender. I like this look, personally. From my observations, it doesn't appear their tires are any wider, so I assume this is using spacers?
I'm very new to trucks in general, so is there a guide, standard...
What about shops that know the 2.3 engine? Looking (long term) to find someone that will do an engine build, tune, etc. There are TONS of resources for the Mustang and RS, but no one wants to touch the Ranger platform, it seems. Pretty bummed so far on that.
