Is there supposed to be a*.xml file in the SynchMyRide folder after unzipping the downloaded file ? I have downloaded the file several time and extracted on a Mac and Windows machine but there is no .xml file in the folder. Is the .xml file created after the update is complete ?

I have downloaded the 3.4 zip file for my Lariat. I have *.gz files but no *.xml file. I expanded the zip file both on a Mac and Windows machine and no *.xml file which is also what the Ford website shows should be there. Any ideas why this is ?

Trimmed maybe 0.050 off the end of the funnel and then opened up the slot to @.400 inches.

I actually did both. I shaved a small amount off the lip or point end as you describe of the funnel and then ground the flat width to match the oil cap.

I have had correspondence with Fumoto on this concern and sent them what I summarized above. I'm sure they will provide you a better crush washer or just go to O'Reilly or other parts house and purchase locally. That is what i did.......
