I'm on my 4th truck, plus many company trucks I've used. None have ever had a tailgate dampener and I have never wished for one so I'll just do without. Now, for a heavy hatch to the engine room of a boat there I would want one!
If others want one that's fine by me, enjoy it!
That all makes sense and looks very good, Thanks for the close ups. I don't see why I'd need to open the oval plugs better to have them covered, if I do need access as you say they can be cut loose.
Thanks!

That looks great1 I will be having mine done too. What did you, or Linex, do about the tie down brackets before coating? Leave in place and coat them too, remove and plug screw holes , spray over the open holes? How about the oval rubber snap in plugs in the bed walls? Removed or spray over...
On my super cab there are three indentations a bit higher on the passenger door only and they are very shallow.

will post a picture tomorrow.

I keep my trailer towing ball hitch in place all the time . Twice I have been rear end bumped at "low speed" and not had any damage at all. My trailer hitch did put a dent in their front bumper both times, but, no damage to me.

While I was installing the 2"snubby I tested the reception with no antenna at all, the reception was quite good. The 2"snubby part description reads M5 thread
That is a 5 millimeter bolt, fine thread or coarse I don't know off hand but you could bring the antenna to a hardware store, Lowes or...
What needs to be done prior to spraying? I am asking about the open threaded holes, the tie down brackets, and the rubber sealing plugs that are stuck into oval holes in the bulkhead and sidewalls.? If LineX, or another, what do they do?
Thanks!
