Just went through this with my 4x4 and had trouble finding good information on how to do it. The little air dams are optional, but I think it looks a lot better than the skid plate alone and directs cool air over the engine instead of creating turbulence around the tires.
Parts to keep when...
If you've got a bit left over like me, I unscrewed the plate on the inside surface of the tailgate and distributed it inside there. Helped with the hollow sound.
Some more lessons learned after using NNayak's great write-up to do my 21 Lariat Supercrew.
I bought 36 square feet of Kilmat for $60 from Amazon and needed almost all of it. Learned Kilmat is manufactured in Russia. When I removed the plastic door panels, I disconnected the door handle and...
Yup, I'm an idiot. 2021 Ford Ranger for sale, one owner, high km, LOW MILES! Odometer only reads high because of metric/imperial programming shenanigans.
There is an option in the BCM in Forscan called "Tire circumference, mm". It's set to 2440mm if you have the stock 265/65r17 or 265/60r18 tires. 1km=0.62mi, so 2440/0.62=3936mm. Setting your circumference to 3936mm will cause it to display the higher "km/h" number. This will work for the radar...
Looks like you need to enable a passcode to unlock the phone screen itself. Annoying but it's a common requirement. I recommend setting up fingerprint or facial recognition if the phone has either of those, makes it less annoying unlocking it.
Good on you for handling it well man.
If it makes you feel any better, Ford didn't have any loaners when this happened to me, so I pushed hard for them to cover an Enterprise rental.
Guess what- Enterprise didn't have any cars either. Said they'd have one at 6pm. Came back at 6, customer had...
I installed the skid plate and the small air dams on either side. I've been trying to figure out how they're mounted using Ford's schematic and going nuts.
Can anyone look under their FX4 and get a picture of how your air dams are attached?
Are yours loose at the aft end and can bounce...
I know the model on the 2.3L Ecoboost Mustang non performance pack is the Honeywell GT22 twin scroll turbo. http://motrolix.com/2013/12/2-3l-ecoboost-in-2015-mustang-uses-twin-scroll-turbo-from-honeywell/
My 2021 Lariat does the same thing, no adjustment at the rear. I'm 6'0" and I initially liked it this way, but then I realized I couldn't rest my arms on the armrests and hold the steering wheel, so I eventually moved my seat more forward.
Thought about getting one of these bronze models professionally repainted?

Not me personally, but Ford is running a promo thru the end of May, 20% off any accessory. Takes the Ford-branded soft cover from $370 to $296, and free pickup from the dealer. Code is ACC20. https://accessories.ford.com/products/ranger-2019-2021-soft-roll-up-tonneau-cover-for-5-0-bed-1
These are the ones I've found worthwhile, and there were already 10 of them!
Disable double honk when closing door with engine running
Panic activate with 2x press on fob
Secure idle (fob must be in truck to shift out of park)
Bambi mode (high beams and fog lights on simultaneously)
Welcome...
