  1. Puddle lights

Thanks, I have searched some. It seems like they all say F150, focus etc. While I think your light looks cool, it's just not me. I had no issue with what I bought, most likely buy again.
  2. Puddle lights

I installed these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NYPLJ8C?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_63 5 years ago. One has started to blink, and only 4 lights working. Although it's made for a F150, the fit is pretty close. Before I buy another set, has anyone found a set that fits the Ranger...

  4. QUESTION ....? WITH THE ZR2 Chevy talk has anyone signed up to a forum ?

I get it, some people may think other choices have no/less issues. Yes, like this forum, you could learn from theirs. The grass is always greener, but it's not a FFR...
  5. Differences between Lariat and XLT

I know I'm 5 years late to the party, but... All the cool kids drive Lariats!!!
  6. Results From My 10R80 Inspired Test Drives Of Something Else

I have nothing against Toyota, I just do not like the look of the Tacoma. The Chevy looks nicer than the Toyota, but I still prefer the Ranger. When I drove the 2020 Colorado, it lacked power, less headroom than Ranger. Shifting was wanky. Seats were plenty uncomfortable too. And the blindspots...
  7. Another One Down 10r80

As a 2019 lariat owner, I've said before how problem free my truck was. I became paranoid after reading all the posts on this trans. the only issue I had was when cold, ambient air below 45*, and I went light throttle out my driveway up a hill, the trans would shift from 1 to 3 and die, like a...
  8. Bed cover and liner recommendations

I have the Truxedo TruEx roll up. I only need weather protection, from rain/snow/sun and to keep dirt out as well. After 5+ years, I've had no issues with it. Maybe because of the Graphene 303... Each style has it's +/- Hard covers offer security, can be used as a work surface etc. They can...
  9. The good old chair debate

I've always hated the folding chairs. They always seemed to push my shoulders together, no support for my back, and I like to tilt in my chair, (yes, teachers hated that) and after a while, the legs bend or break. My wife bought me an oversized chair, and while the shoulder pushing together got...
  10. Made me laugh & think

April 2020, 2019 Ranger 52k. Lot of miles put on going from CT to VT when we moved. Since then, maybe 10k per year. Everything is a drive to get to around here.
  11. Alcohol good or bad in inducted engines

A couple of thoughts, I viewed a few websites and videos. They all mentioned oil is key. I've always run full syn, so I think I'm good there. They mentioned high quality fuel, but don't elaborate. One did mention fuel additives, one being PEA. I'll take your word for higher octane... Lugging, I...
  12. Alcohol good or bad in inducted engines

At what octane is it not hard on engine? Hard in what way? Like old school lugging an engine hard? Thanks
  13. Dumb question about oil changes?

Love the Portsmouth NH area. Been a few years, but it's on our radar to return. Great walking around kind of town.
  14. Alcohol good or bad in inducted engines

I'm just an everyday driver, conservative, get on it once in a while. I load the bed with stuff, rarely tow, mountainous roads. I run 87, and I'm fine with that performance. Ran 91 for a while early on, noticed a difference in performance, but with my driving style, didn't need it. back to 87...
  15. Tail light mishap UPDATE

Last summer I bumped mine with a kayak. I couldn't believe it when I heard the crack, it didn't take much. I ran a bead of super glue along the 3" crack. So far, no water, no issues. I was lucky.
  16. Fuel Brand Preference

Sunoco, reward program, top tier fuel Mobil, same reason, but rarely buy...
  17. Made me laugh & think

That is strange, and miles vs kilometers isn't even close either, in case there was a change made...
  18. Dumb question about oil changes?

As far as the oil change reminder goes... I recently accepted the change of terms on FORDPASS, so now I can use it, and when I reset my oil change reminder, instead of 10k, it appears it is now 7k. Ford changing their mind? Or is it programed that after 50k the recommendation goes down to 7k...
  19. FORD 10R80 10-SPEED TRANSMISSION CLASS ACTION

It's sad that it is only the lawyers and 1, maybe 2 select will benefit. I've been a plantif if class actions before, never more than $2.00 came my way. Wasn't all palntifs wronged equally?
  20. Who Wore It Better ?

Too late to vote, but I like the side by side for same reason. The stacked looks like you would lose some light due to blockage.
