Yesterday I noticed some bumping and clunking but then again its a season change so I just figured it was because its cold, I am not going to freak out just yet at only 53k miles...
this F***ING thing better not leave me on the side of the road in a snow storm
while you are waiting for the fuse, put the battery on a Tender trickle charge
these things seem to happen around the change of season or if you dont drive it much
Been there, last year my Son would sit in my truck and do his homework and keep the radio and lights on the whole time, and I was starting to get those pop-ups until I figured it out, even over the summer sometimes I put it on a Smart Schumacher Battery Tender on it, havent had an issue since :)
Batteries all seem to go right around the Season change, in the winter time I have a Battery Tender I plug the truck into over night ....
I take better care of the battery than the rest of the truck LOL
because without a good battery you have no Tunes while you wait for a tow truck when your...
9v. its dead jim
get the better battery, there is one with a little more AH and make the change in forscan to keep it at 90+% SOC
mine is a 21 so my time is near :(
The first thing that came to mind when I read this was, mouse got a wire
last season one got my back seat belt warning wire, its in a spot I can fix easy I just haven't gotten to it yet
wiring issues Suck
the inverter fuse I blew is under the hood under that block, its a pain in the ass to do, the 150W inverter in these trucks is really worthless anyway, its only good for a night light LOL I carry a 750W that plugs into a lighter jack for a laptop, for power tools I carry a 3500W
I have probably had my truck in the air twice a year, even with loads in the bed I never think of axle flex?
I just think being a truck it should be able to handle a little stress, we should have to always worry about things that dont happen often?
I would have started by pulling the battery off for a few min too
send the girlfriend home because in times like these you need to be able to think clear (the Women and Children act of 1852) and she is going to take this opportunity to remind you of why you should have bought the Mini Van or the...
A OBDII bluetooth dongle and a phone App (or Tablet) called Torque, probably less than $30 total still, I have been using mine for a few years now and love it!
Most of my issues with these trucks were solved by just using (S) Sport mode, keeping my RPMs up and turning off ASS my mind does not even see (D) any more ....
OMG so Cool!
Scooby hit it once by accident and almost let the smoke out of the tranny, well there was a little blue smoke, dont think it ruined anything that was two years ago
