Hmmmm. Yeah, with possible water intrusion, I'd say get the rear diff. cover off to drain it, clean it out (brake cleaner?), reassemble and refill it. I've done water crossings like that before and haven't had any issues, but I may have just gotten lucky!
I would first see if you can disengage it by unplugging it at the differential. If it disengages, it'd be better to drive on the road, and I wouldn't drive it at all on paved surfaces locked. From there, I'd get it to the dealer to diag what jacked up!
I'm thinking about getting a catch can for my Ranger, and figuring out hot to reinstall the one I had on my Mustang before I supercharged it with the supercharger setup. I'm interested in seeing what options are out there for these trucks!
I don't agree. I can feel my motor is smoother, accelerates smoother, and accelerates quicker. There is a marked improvement driving the truck on 93 vs 87.
Nothing was really done to the Ranger but to the garage. Found that my wife also put the corner of the bumper into the garage door as well. I popped the dents out of the garage door and I will clean up the bumper later.

Ughhhh! I want to finish my fender flare project, but it keeps raining! I don't want to paint in the high humidity or rain. Boooo!
In other news, my wife had off from work yesterday for Juneteenth, but I still had to work (from home), so she took the Ranger to the beach. It's not often I get...
Ughhhhh. I have the hankering to buy guns. I wanted to build up a budget conceal carry/home defense gun for fun as something to write an article about and shoot a video for work, but I found out my company doesn't have a very amicable relationship with the company that sells the gun. So I...
I'm late to the party, but my wife and I have done that cruise out of Galveston several times! What ship were you on? I feel bad because you missed Royal Caribbean at its pinnacle of service and dining. :(
Covid messed up the cruise industry and Royal has drastically cut services and dining...
Worked on my fender flares today. I got these from @OFC Ranger and I'm having to shape them around my front bumper and snorkel. This required cutting huge chunks out of the flares and then forming plastic to fill in the missing parts. I bonded the plastic fillers pieces with plastic weld...
