I would see if your seal is leaking if you can before trying to repaint it, that way it won’t happen again ideally. Wouldn’t be a bad idea after to see if you can scratch away the loose paint, sand, then use some good rust blocking/converting primer.
It shouldn’t. You have to drop the pan to drain it there is not a drain plug on the oem pans.
if your asking that, I assume your on the original transmission as well?
I don’t disagree. It’s really about what brand will fix it when you come to then with a problem at this point.
Yeah the Buzz is dissapointing. Electric would not fit my lifestyle but I thought it was pretty cool until I saw the price and range. Speaking of diesels, I really wish more vehicles...
I agree about the shocks. even though I’ll be in a new vehicle, I do regret never switching them out. The 4Runner I test drove had Bilstiens, couldn’t believe how smooth it was.
whenever I get into a new vehicle I’ll be sure to get you a total count of dampers.
Understand completely. My experience with ford and frankly other American products has turned me off a lot of vehicles and products made here. It sounds like you have a great truck and hopefully it will make it many more miles! Maybe you’ll beat out the guy who just hit 200k!
that being said...
Shoulda taken one at the grocery store this past weekend. Dude took up two handicap spots (in a lifted truck w/ handicap plate) and the massive space in between by parking at an angle. Didn’t know you could take up that much space but bad Parker’s find a way!
I would inspect the loom in that area and maybe post some pics of it. I’d be willing to bet we have the same issue if it started when it got cold outside. I think I will end up having to splice the cable at some point from it being smashed so much. Along with the bad placement the material they...
Okay so I think you have the same thing that is going on with mine. Whatever engineer designed the camera and wiring run from the tailgate into the vehicle did a very bad job. Basically the wires from the tailgate to under the bed pinch between the two pieces especially when below freezing. I...
Thanks for confirming! Makes me feel a bit better if it’s not just me. The place I moved too is much colder with more wind then where I was at before the new year, so that could have an effect too. Not sure if you noticed the same but at 75 the truck seems to loose a lot some efficiency vs 70...
Just did a 350 mile round trip this past weekend, average was 18MPG. it seems every winter my mpg has gotten worse since i got it. In the spring summer and fall it’s a lot better. Speed when I drive is constant 60 or a constant 75. I do have an issue with fuel in the oil, but there is no way I’m...
I had that same experience. I had a really good in depth one saved on my playlist since 2016 and it just says deleted video or video removed where it used to be. Stupid. You can shoot but they can’t show dissemble or assembly. Yet you can get surplus manuals on all sorts of US army and guerilla...
I am much farther north then the storm but just a warning to those in the south getting hit the ranger cannot push through 2-4 feet of snow. That wall you see is around 4 feet. Heavy wind brings everything up my driveway to this corner. Here the is the aftermath after clearing it with the...
Most likely it’s somethibg left over from assembly. But if not…
THE BUGS, THEY ARE IN YOUR WALLs TRACKING YOU DIG THEM OUT DIG THEM OUT. THEY ARE IN THE DAMPERS REMOVE THE DAMPER REMOVE IT
I would not remove them. It would be a lot of trimming and sanding to get them back on. Maybe I missed it, but I would recommend taking the eyes out of the tie down points. They will be very difficult if not impossible to take them off if they spray over them without damaging the areas near the...
