Have any of you guys hauled anything heavy in your ranger yet? I haven't, probably will be hauling some barrels of anti freeze or methanol. I'm curious as to how much can be hauled in a ranger.
When I left the house this morning it said 20.1 on the readout. It went as low as 9.6, then up to 13.7 for the rest of the day. I was in and out of gas wells, and mostly on back roads. A lot of 4wd time too. Mostly 4-low.
This is a typical road that I have to drive on to get to a site, The other pic is of the dash in my truck. I was messing around with the buttons and that is what came up. Pretty cool I thought.
Get the fx4 package. I'm just figuring out all of this tech stuff on the ranger. I use it everyday in the gas patch It works. better than I would ever imagined

I ran mine Friday. The other guys I work with have Toyota's.They said they wish they had a ranger. Driving around with my boss. we thought we were getting flipped off. We realized we were getting the thumbs up!
Randy here. I found this site yesterday evening looking for info on the new ranger. Mine is a company truck, and will be used in the gas/oil patch in Pa. Looks like a lot of good input here.
