Looks like good news for the C1035B, and bad news on the C422. Although on the C422, they may actually have them, they just don't have them listed. You could always de-pin it and try to match them up?? OR- bite the bullet on the Motorcraft WPT1606 / 1607.
Here is C422. Motorcraft does have the individual wires with the terminal crimped on available. You would have to check with Ford for the part number. The whole connector pigtail (more expensive) part number is shown (WPT1606)
For what it's worth; the NA version for the heated rear window does use a brown/yellow wire coming out of the Battery Junction Box (BJB) to power the heat grid. The relay is an integral part of the BJB, not serviced or generally accessible otherwise.
Hope this helps a little. See diagram below.

FYI-
Mine did the same thing. Had a bad battery. Ford replaced it under warranty**. I bought mine in June, it was only 2 or 3 months old when this started happening.
Since they replaced the battery no problems.
** When I say they replaced it under warranty, this was of course after the normal...
I took mine off and laid it down flat on the living room floor. They are a little fussy to get on there. You really need to go slow and they will come out perfect. I couldn't imagine trying to do it with the tailgate on the truck. They gave me an extra letter to practice with. That was a good...
