I definitely consider that a mod worth doing after putting one on my XL STX.

I thought it a bit ridiculous that all trims didn't come with one, but now I'm like wow.

might be they turned up the fake engine noise in the cabin to a higher level and figured no one would notice and then they paid an incentive award out to the employee for that brilliant money saving idea, what gets taken out next - maybe that gas funnel ?

Have you tried to use that thing? Useless.
can't say I have - but I figured if they stopped supplying it no one would notice - until they ran out of gas :)

I carry a 5 gallon can when I tow because towing range is less than 200 miles with this pathetic excuse of a fuel tank. I had an extra 5 gallons of 91 from my generator. I wanted to use them instead of buying fuel so I wouldn't be storing 10 gallons of gas or trying to add it to a tank later. So, in the FlyingJ parking lot I proceeded to dump half a gallon from the can all over the funnel because of the stiff breeze. It's too short and small diameter.

Better than nothing, in a pinch.
