IF THIS ISNT THE SAME AS ME. Ahahahahhahahaa. I compared the two, liked the ranger more (Tacoma has always been ugly to me), and also I wanted something for offroad that no one else had. And to this day, I have seen so many Tacoma's, but not a single new gen ranger offroad (besides online).
Just make sure if you get the aftermarket controller, that you are happy with the location. I have bought a controller but have yet to install it, and the standard locations aren't where I want it. Under the heater controls is a nice place but I am putting switches there soon.
Does not sound like a lemon, but does have a few issues. I have had multiple customers upset with the Ford dealer not fixing their issues or being unable to diagnose their concerns. I haven't had the pleasure yet. You could always take it to a trusted independent shop (preferably with ford...
I had an issue of my android auto cutting out. I found a correlation with it only happening when I was talking on my radio offroad. What was happening was my handheld attachment for my baofeng radio was causing interference when the cables were next to each other.
True. I have winters for winter though. There is just still snow and ice in the mountains. I find mut tires even handle pavement poorly. But I offroad enough to justify them.
I wonder if with the fox shocks, that I can get smaller bump stops. Because the bump stops are usually for protecting the struts. I'm unsure if they have a different max compression than stock
Going with ones sold by a member on here

I'll be posting about them when I get them installed and try them out
As always ;). There was some sketchy moments. I found that MT tires going downhill on ice means no brakes. Probably slid 200yards at like 14%...
I have the Roush ones as well. I believe they come with plastic strut covers for the rear where the ford don't. Correct me if I'm wrong about that. Also does I think the Roush had better warranty, again, correct me if I'm wrong.
Needs more flex ?
Quick disconnect links coming soon. Then to work on leafs for more compression, but I'm sure my fox struts are most limiting on the droop.
My girlfriend and I might as well be married. Been together almost 6 years, just don't live together yet (she is just finishing school). She doesn't mind what I get as long as I'm also saving money, and that I'm happy. I'm blessed I'd say. But I've also been modding since before we met so it's...
Totally off topic to what most are talking about, I just took my truck offroad for the first time after my fox2.0 and tires and goddamn. I rarely scraped. I only layed frame from the long wheel base. I'm genuinely impressed how much better it was. I would constantly hit my skid plate and lay...
Who has a winch mounting plate?
What brand do you have?
Are you happy with it?
How was the install?
Does it affect radar?
Post any photos if you have any. I need ideas :turkey:
