Soo turns out my transmission concerns were for a reason. Took my truck in for its first service and they discovered that the fluid was 1.5 liters below where it should be!? They could not find evidence of any leaks and figure "it must have left the factory like that". Yikes. Is much better...

Yah it's loud, makes all sorts of engine noises I've never heard before. I owned two Nissans and a Focus ST prior to the Ranger, all of them were significantly quieter. It used to drive me crazy, always sounded like something was going to break...but I'm over it now, I just turn up the tunes...

I have the XLT 302A, it is definitely not leather...if it is, its garbage haha. Is in Canada but I'm pretty sure the Ranger would have North American specs not country specific...I'm not too worried.
