I considered them on with the headlights because they were lit but you are correct they are in parking light mode.

Airline tech, correct me if I am wrong. On my 2021 Lariat the DRLs are on when the headlights are on as well as when you are in any gear except park if you don't have them turned off through the menu accessed through the steering wheel controls. I have mine turned off except when they go on...

Thanks for the info Frenchy. Guess i'Il be regroudingng the power steps. Just a matter of info, they have been grounded to the negative terminal for 3 years with no issues so far.

What is your source of this information? My Amp Research power boards installation instructions say to connect the positive to the positive terminal of the battery and the negative to the negative terminal of the battery.

Do you the installation instructions for using the small harness?

Have you talked to the dealership General Manager? I would go straight to the top Dog at the dealership.

Maybe their tech didn't check it out throughly? Maybe the tech under filled the trans? If you have any further issues I would turn to Ford and maybe try another dealer that has a more experienced tech.
