It's Line-X Premium. In person it's pretty black. It has a good amount of gloss /sheen to it, so it looks gray in pictures where the sunlight is hitting it directly like in the picture I posted. Here's some others but it still looks blacker in person.

I updated my first post a few days ago to include all the trailer wiring diagrams direct from Ford's Tech Service website.
Done, Updated to mention how the Ford Service Manual states that the TBCO Wire is supposed to be blue (industry standard) and how earlier Rangers may have a green/black wire. Also linked the tow wiring diagrams from the service manuals and a picture of it in the writeup.
I ended up getting the mtx and used the .045" tap, though I think you might be ok using the.050" if you want to save the extra $15.
The taps are pretty delicate and they can sometimes break easily if you force them too hard. The mtx is nice because you could just swap out the broken one with...
I put in a Bedrug XLT which covers all the way up to the top of the tailgate over my Line-X'd bed and initially had the same concern since with spray-in lines it installs with adhesive promoter under the 3M velcro strips. I think maybe because of how precisely cut it is to fit the bed but I can...
Received the module from the second batch today and installed it in less than 15 minutes, using the "option 1" style where you only need to connect red wire to power and blue wire to the gray/brown. Had to reset the one touch window memory since i unplugged the wire harness when crimping the...
@skibuff ?
@RCMUSTANG Haven't heard from @Pirategrad yet. I just PM'd the two of them and I'll DM you if anything changes...otherwise just send em both out to me.
I bought a second one to get the order pushed through with the intention of selling it to a forum member who was late on the second batch. If you want to paypal or venmo me for what @RCMUSTANG charged me, I'll send the extra shipping cost to him and if he's ok with it, sending it out to you...
They can be easily taken off and painted. I lightly sanded it then gave it a few light coats of gloss black spray paint. Works just as well as it did before. Here's mine after I Line-X'd the valence and skid plate.
From JLT:
We found out after doing this install that the Lariat has an engine cover that the XL and XLT do not come with.
It’s a small plastic cover, but the oil separator mounts to one of it’s mounting locations.
Currently as this kit is it will not fit with the engine cover installed. We...
I'm really liking the beam pattern and width that the wide pros give off. As with a lot of things, pictures don't do justice to how it looks in person. Photos taken with just the fogs and Lariat running lights. Beam pattern is pretty consistent to what Baja Designs state.
Definitely not alone... I would looking at it everytime I walked by it too. I backed into a tree branch last month and made a small 1/2" crack on one of the tailight housings. Worst of all, the part alone is $800+ to replace. You can barely see the crack and out of the dozen or so of people...
That looks great! That's exactly what I was thinking about doing if I were to get purchase the Raptor grille. Is the whole grille painted magnetic or just the outside and letters?
With the lights flush against the housing as much as possible, you've got maybe +/- 5 degrees of tilt. If being flush against the housing isn't a big deal to you, you could add some washers or spacers and get more. I'll eventually end up with a 3-3.5" lift and I don't think I'll have to add...
