I've been frustrated since my first oil change with the annoying factory clips that hold on the inner fender splash guard. I've seen on this forum several other people have come up with different solutions for replacing these clips - either get new OE clips when the originals break, or get some...
I also replaced mine this weekend. Have not really noticed any difference in how the truck / drivetrain behaves. I guess my old was was working fine?
I don't really have any major problems with buck/surge, but more like a feeling that sometimes under heavy load the engine is doing a little...
I'm pretty sure that was 303 graphene, right? Spray the exterior of the truck, then dump whatever's left in the bottle into the tank....
(DO NOT DO THIS).
I love going offroad, but sometimes the truck comes home a bit worse for wear. On a recent excursion with my son, I managed to really deeply (down to bare metal) scratch my rear bumper. Luckily this was a lot easier to fix than I expected. I'm really happy with the result:
Hopefully this is a...
As someone who does server admin at work - Thank you! I know first hand how nerve-wracking it can be to deal with down time on busy infrastructure. Thanks for getting things back on track!
Pulling the dash and replacing the heater box (which is the correct fix for this issue) is a BIG job. I did my own, over the course of 2 days. Here are some of the gory details...
That's a solid deal, pending shipping costs.
I have not heard from anyone who has gone the cheaper route, but Doorman does make a replacement pan which looks pretty similar to OEM, but includes a drain plug:

We were not *that* far from fuel, but I made sure we went out with a full tank. The trail loop we did is only something like 9 miles all in, but we went through a quarter tank of fuel to do it. Super fun trail, pushed the limits of what the ranger could handle.
If you are planning to drop the pan, I highly recommend swapping in an aftermarket pan with a drain plug. I installed the extra capacity pan from PPE, and it's been amazing. It adds both extra capacity for the fluid as well as extra cooling fins on the body of the trans pan. Being able to drain...
There are a variety of ways to get the trans temp, but they all boil down to (see what I did there?) needing something that can interact with the OBD port to show you the value of the PID for the trans temp. I have the Livernois tuner, and I'm pretty sure it can show that, but I also have the...
Yeah, the story you are getting from the dealer sounds all kinds of fishy. I'd call Ford corporate directly and explain the situation and see what they say. I'd be especially interested to know how they can test all the wiring etc and know for certain that the airbag itself has somehow failed.
