Believe it depends on the application. I run HAWK ceramic pads on my Solstice and with all the performance mods I wouldn’t have it any other way. They do produce a little noise now and then but the stopping power is very good and confidence boosting. On the Ranger I can totally understand where...
That makes sense. I would think that the pores in the leather are larger than on a synthetic surface. I have leather products but mostly the Adams products that can be used universally.
Most likely. Figure there will be folks taking the top on and off a lot, which just by virtue of that, will lead to issues. I'm not to familiar with the Jeeps but I'd think they have similar issues which have become a "Jeep thing".
Haha! I use a Milwaukee blower but basically the same thing with H2O Guard and Gloss for the drying aid. Damn detailing snobs! I have some of the Graphene spray but haven't used it yet. Oh, if you get a chance, check out my build thread. I used Adams' ceramic wheel coating recently. The...
For sure! :like: Yep, those are great choices for maintenance. I've recently revised my "stack" to simplify things but it's important, to me anyway, to have some items for the multi-step cleaning. Give the protection paste a try but wait for a sale since forking over $50 is a bit painful haha...
Big fan of Adams' products! Like you, I almost look like I'm sponsored by them haha. Good writeup for a detailed cleaning. Agree with others that regular maintenance can be done more simply, just as was mentioned with the use of 303. Also like 303 but still prefer Adams.
I'd add that if you...
Seems this situation is a bit more severe than the typical first year stumbles. Hopefully Ford can right the ship quickly, which it sounds like they're doing. Bummer for new owners though.
Ford appears willing to put in the funds and resources to make the situation disappear. Would be interesting to see, through a hefty lawsuit, if it will cripple Webasto to the point of being bought out by Ford.
I believe you should have no problems since the stock rim is 17x8. Also, despite the offset (stock is +55), you should have no issues with rubbing since you'd retain the 265 width. But plenty of info here in the forum to get a second opinion.
Stock tune backed up and Livernois performance tune installed. Haven't romped on the accelerator yet but I'm more interested in getting some mpg's back after adding the level and 22's. Right now sitting at 19.7 mpg and hoping to get at least 22. We shall see. I'll give her a run once I drive the...
Not sure if these are the Bushwhacker guards but I have them and agree that they're perfect. Also have the added benefit of hiding the pinch weld area if your truck is leveled or lifted.
May just be a Southern California thing, but found that my truck bed pivot storage box builds up of moisture. We've had a small uptick in humidity this summer so I'm not surprised. Today I threw a couple silica gel canisters in it to see if it helps mitigate the issue.
