Ford appears willing to put in the funds and resources to make the situation disappear. Would be interesting to see, through a hefty lawsuit, if it will cripple Webasto to the point of being bought out by Ford.I’ve read that Webasto, on a global scale, was hit particularly hard with COVID problems. More about what Ford is doing to solve the problems here:

They make Wrangler tops too.
Seems this situation is a bit more severe than the typical first year stumbles. Hopefully Ford can right the ship quickly, which it sounds like they're doing. Bummer for new owners though.Just another example of why buying a first yr model of any manufacturer is risky.
Having said that, imagine no one buys first yr models? lol!!!!!
While I tend to agree with that statement, my first year (for US market) 2019 Ranger has been flawless. The Aussies did a great job and I’m extremely happy with my first model year US Ranger.Just another example of why buying a first yr model of any manufacturer is risky.

Folks are just gonna have to seal with it...The older full size Bronco, Blazer etc all had leaking problems once you broke the oem seal, hence why I never removed the hard top off my 1990 Bronco, owned it 17 years and no leak issues.

...Okay, I'll show myself out.
In my opinion I think the New Bronco's will have future sealing problems even when Ford get's the handle on production for the hard to roof'sThe older full size Bronco, Blazer etc all had leaking problems once you broke the oem seal, hence why I never removed the hard top off my 1990 Bronco, owned it 17 years and no leak issues.
Most likely. Figure there will be folks taking the top on and off a lot, which just by virtue of that, will lead to issues. I'm not to familiar with the Jeeps but I'd think they have similar issues which have become a "Jeep thing".In my opinion I think the New Bronco's will have future sealing problems even when Ford get's the handle on production for the hard to roof's
Hmm. Ford buys out Webasto, takes their tooling and technology as their own, and shuts down top production for the Wrangler.Ford appears willing to put in the funds and resources to make the situation disappear.
