  3. Road Debris - Ugh

Speaking of Lemonade, I now have a full size spare with one of the two original tire/wheels that didn't blow out. I'll take a picture of the full size and spare Side-by-Side. It's a significant difference in height. If anyone now needs a spare STX SE Rim, reach out as I will have three...
  4. Road Debris - Ugh

Got the new wheels and tires on last night. Alignment is knocked out and the steering wheel is turned off-center a tad from the curb strike after the blowout, but there are no other issues. The Hankooks seem quiet, but do ride a bit different from the Bridgestone HTs. With the alignment being...
  5. Road Debris - Ugh

I'll post pictures shortly, but it was a piece of angle iron that blew the front, causing the truck to hit the curb in the back and take out the rear, and tear up the rim. Last night, I found a NTO (New Take Off) set of STX Special Edition rims at a dealer supplier, complete with TPMS and...
  6. Road Debris - Ugh

Not one, but two tires....happy days.
  7. Texas Like New (1000 miles) Bilstein 5100 Rear Shocks

I really liked them, as it was a big improvement over the stock, and kept the rear bounce away. I drive a 2WD STX Crew Cab. Wanted to do the fronts with a Level Kit, but the Bilstein's were backordered until November, and ended up buying a 2wd Eibach level kit from another member. Things you...
  8. Texas Sold: Like New (1000 miles) Bilstein 5100 Rear Shocks

Selling my like new rear shocks, 1000 miles on these. Due to lack of availability of the Bilstein 5100 front shocks, I ended up going with an Eibach Pro Truck 3" lift kit. Model#: 24-294225 $140 for both. I will ship at an extra cost. North Texas Thanks, Jim
  9. Mixing Eibach Pro-Truck Front / Bilstein 5100s rear

I ended up finding a new set of Eibach Pro-Lift shocks and the 3in Eibach front springs,, as the fronts for the 5100s are detailed until 11/22 (?).
  10. What was your first Ford daily driver?

1979 Ford Fiesta. Tan with Brown stripes!
  11. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I installed the Ford trailer brake controller. As I needed to run both power and brake output, it took about 6 hours. Also used the Lightforce switch fascia.
  12. Tennessee FX4 Suspension for free (local pickup only)

I'd be interested if they are still available. My sister lives in Franklin. Let me check that she'll pick them up for me.
  13. Information from Bilstein RE: 4600/5100 Shocks for the 5G Ranger (FYI)

Have you installed the 4600s on the front? What's the ride like with the 5100s in the back? Thanks Jim
  14. Mixing Eibach Pro-Truck Front / Bilstein 5100s rear

Since I replaced the rears, I'm noticing the front much more. Thinking I'll put on a set of 4600s. The freeway I drive to work is pretty "floaty", and I was really noticing the bounce effect with the stock shocks.
  15. Mixing Eibach Pro-Truck Front / Bilstein 5100s rear

Anyone mix Eibach in the front with Bilstein 5100s in the rear? My backorder just updated from September to 11/17/2021 on the 5100s, so I'm looking at getting the Eibach's for the front as the 6112 are just a bit too much for me. It's either that or put Bilstein 4600s on front while I can still...
  16. New Member, New Truck, and Failure @100 miles.

Oh yeah. Just spent another $50!
  17. Looking for a secret stash of Bilstein 5100s for the front. 24-294218

I guess it is what it is. Looks like Sept. I’m just spoiled with the rears and want to do the fronts now.
