Anyone mix Eibach in the front with Bilstein 5100s in the rear?

My backorder just updated from September to 11/17/2021 on the 5100s, so I'm looking at getting the Eibach's for the front as the 6112 are just a bit too much for me. It's either that or put Bilstein 4600s on front while I can still get those and a spacer.

Thanks,

Jim

Oh gawd, I guess the next thing we will be mixing is tires. Jeezz, this world has gone to pot.

Since I replaced the rears, I'm noticing the front much more. Thinking I'll put on a set of 4600s. The freeway I drive to work is pretty "floaty", and I was really noticing the bounce effect with the stock shocks.

FWIW other than the adjustable perches, the 4600's are the same valving as the 5100's. Had I known that before I bought the 5100's for the rear of mine I would have done 4600's all around, but as it stands now, when I get around to doing my front's I will have 4600 on the front and 5100 on the rear as I'm not interested in leveling the truck.

I'm confused why everyone is running Bilstein 5100's in the rear, if only leveling the front. Wouldn't the 4600 be the correct choice for the rear at stock height (i.e. no lift block or leaf pack)?

I believe the 5100's will give you the option, should you choose some time in the future, to add up to a 1" block lift in the rear. The 4600 rears would require that you stay stock height.

I ended up finding a new set of Eibach Pro-Lift shocks and the 3in Eibach front springs,, as the fronts for the 5100s are detailed until 11/22 (?).

Gotcha. I wonder if there's any issue with bottoming out the shock if the truck is at stock ride height with a load in the bed when running the 5100's.
