I just don't get it. The tailgate is aluminum and takes probably less than 5 pounds to hold up why do you want a damper? All it would do for me is slow me down waiting for the thing to drop down... Ah well, to each their own or in this case, whatever blows your skirt up.

yes i know it's been out a few years. As for GM they built a 9 speed and Ford built this 10 speed all in a joint program. Ford decided not to use GM's 9 speed but GM has this 10 speed in their Camaro ZL1 and the Cadillac CT6.

for that price you might as well just get a pipe to replace the muffler and use the stock exit. it would cost less than 50 bucks. That side exit would be loud in the cabin. i had one on my 2005 4.0 and it was really loud in the cab especially with the pass window open.

those are out now and nice. Banks makes some now but sadly not for the Ranger. Theirs is designed to throw oil in the proper directions not just for bling. Problem with the Ford Performance one is that it's cast iron. Aluminum is better for heat dissipation.
