ah cool I figured it was something like that. My mom's Toyota FJ Cruiser is like that. She ordered the tow package afterwards and I put it on, it came with a different center piece pretty much the same idea. Very cool.
Mine is a lariat with the chrome package. I dont normally like chrome but it looks really good. I do however like the standard look the best where the bumpers and door handles are the same color as the truck.
you mean it had a seperate button on the key or it locked/unlocked with the door button? A separate tailgate button would be nice where it never locks unless you hit the button. I guess I just need to learn to keep the keys in my pocket.
Also I guess even if they put the little switch on the...
I am aware I could just unplug it I was just wishing it had one of the keyless entry buttons on the handle like the doors do. I find putting it in park or slowing down to under 10mph or whatever it is doesn't unlock the tailgate only pushing the button does and this I often forget. It's not a...
the hell with the damper I want one of those little lock/unlock squares on the door handles on my tailgate! pisses me off every time i leave my keys in the truck, go to unload something, and the damn tailgate is locked. Stupid to have a lock on a tailgate anyway unless you get one of those...
supposedly there is some sort of wiper heater too that activates with the rear defrost but it hasn't done anything for me when I had ice at the base of the windshield.
no way i would keep it. 3.5 seconds is kinda a long time when your'e in a hurry. ive used trucks with them before and personally cant stand them. that said i dont care what others do to their trucks i was just curious why someone would want such a hindrance. i guess if you have really weak wrists...
I grew up on a dairy farm and love my manuals sadly ford doesn't offer one any longer. The Ranger used to be very popular in manual. I think my 05 Ranger Edge 5 speed was one of the funnest trucks I ever drove. Still though this 10 speed isn't like most autos it shifts about 25 percent faster...
what does yours have for a gearbox? The 10 speed we have is awesome I absolutely love it. I think an 8 speed would have been better because the 10 shifts constantly but it's still awesome.
5 Star Tuning also had good results with 93 oct in a stock Ranger. You have to understand these companies thrive on showing low hp numbers with stock tunes because they make their money by showing how much power their tunes make. These dynos with high octane stock tunes do nothing for their...
that's dead on actually mine gave me an extra grand toward my trade in to make up for the 2017 miles on my courtesy vehicle buy.
I would certainly just bought a new truck but they didn't have any other Rangers i liked and I didn't wanna wait or pay for a transfer.
ppl have opinions and idk I guess they like to share them. I just think it's comical because the tailgate weighs practically nothing and in my mind a damper is totally useless. But like I said whatever blows your skirt up. Your truck your choice.
That's funny that Jeep provided the competition trucks... A Gladiator Rubicon and they get a Ranger XLT for comparison. Fair would be the Lariat but that's a Chrysler move if I ever did see one.
LOL we seem to be on the exact same page on this one. it's so light even if my hands are full I can bring my knee up to catch it and let it down. With it damped I'd be waiting for the damn thing to open. I gotta watch that video I bet he does let it slam open! Last one I watched the guy...
yup I live on tug hill which is right in the middle of the lake effect from lake Ontario. We get an average of 200 inches per year. It's not as extreme in recent years but I remember one halloween as a kid where we had 3 feet overnight and it didn't melt till spring and spring for us is late...
