So last night/this morning, i became a victim of stolen tail lights. It appears they used a screwdriver to punch thru the aluminum skin under the tailgate latch to open the tailgate. Already have insurance involved and the truck is at the dealer for a quote.
Who else has joined the party ?
The other day, my truck wouldn't unlock within an hour of my last drive. After using the key to open the door, no interior lights came on. Tried to start it, and nothing happened. Checked the battery,, it was showing 12.75VDC. A quick Google search led me to use the Ford Pass app to remote...
I'm leaning towards functionality. Where I live plays no part in my own decision. Just because I live here doesn't mean I'm from here and share the same traits as true Texans. Changing the intrusions beams is a necessary evil for fitting larger tires and/or different offset wheels. Believe me...
It doesn't have to be old to be a project, right ?
Traded in the wife's 16 Optima for her dream vehicle. During our debate about it, her only argument was, "IT'S PINK !!!"
It would either be the Firestone Destination LE3 or Destination AT2. I figure the AT2 is the most streetable A/T tire. I know there are other brands, but I'm partial to firestone tires.
While using adaptive cruise behind someone a safe distance and another vehicle lanes changes in front of you, causing your vehicle to automatically brake.
Not learning from mistakes. The first time is a mistake, the second time, you're doing it on purpose. This was advice from my perfectionist...
In a few months, I'll be in the market for new tires. The caveat is that I will also be buying new wheels. I am very particular in the style of wheel I want, but alas, none are available in the correct offset that would negate leveling the truck. I had been dead set against having to level the...
So, I ended up taking the truck to the dealer. I'm 99% sure I could have done it myself but without the specific tools on hand, it was just cheaper to let the dealer do it. That way, if they muff it up, they can repair it.
This morning on my way to work, I ran over a huge wad of stretch wrap. It ended up wrapped around the driveshaft u-joint at the rear diff. I was able to pull the excess plastic out but now my pinion seal is leaking. Is this something I can replace without having to replace the crush washer...
Looks like you may have scooped the cow on impact. That could only explain the lack of air bag deployment and the relatively flat bumper.
Regardless, you're sucking air and kicking dirt, so you're still on the top side of this wretched earth, and that's all that matters.
I'm at 34k miles and other than the dealership not rotating properly (only rotating side to side, never front to back), I suppose I have another 10-15k miles left on em.
Im presuming your truck has 301a or less trim package. In that case, the above link is your more cost efficient option. If you have the 302a package, it includes remote start.
unlocking a locked and armed vehicle with a key will most certainly set off the alarm. Use the FordPass app to unlock the doors, it will also disarm the security system. Then use your key like its 1985.
